I am confused. This video says it does not activate until you get to your destination and activate on the phone. The website says the card activates the minute you scan the qr code to instll on the phone. Which one is it? Only going to be in Europe 7 days so i want to make sure i do not activate it to early. Also does this card work in the Canary Islands?

Hello! A pleasure to greet. When you make the purchase, you will receive a QR code in your email. The idea is that you install your eSIM days before your trip and when you arrive at your destination, you activate it. They are two different processes. Remember that the data starts counting when you activate the eSIM, not when you install it. And Europe's eSIM does not cover the Canary Islands.

Hi, in the same tutorial we have two ways to install the eSIM. By QR code and manually. In manual installation you don't need a second device to install the eSIM.

Hello, you should contact your mobile operator, because if you do not see this function, it is likely that your cell phone is blocked. You should call them to unlock your phone and be able to use eSIMs.

Sometimes the eSIM may be "activated" after installation, but it is only when the customer turns on data roaming that the days of their plan begin to count down. In that case what you can do is turn off the eSIM and manually select your main SIM for calls, data, or whatever the customer wants. Likewise, we recommend that you do not uninstall the eSIM.

Hello, to install the eSIM you need a good internet connection, but not to activate it. When you land at your destination just select the Holafly eSIM and activate the data roaming and that's it!

Hi, it won't work if it has a restriction. Check this: How can you check what message your iPhone displays? - 1. Go to Settings on your iPhone or iPad. - 2. Tap on General. - 3. Then, tap on About. - 4. Scroll down the screen until you find the "Carrier Lock" section. If you see "No SIM Restrictions" next to Carrier Lock, your device is unlocked.

I want to buy a Holafyl eSIM for my trip to the US. At 2:22 in the video, you select your *preferred* SIM for mobile data. Do you know what *preferred* means? Can I be 100% sure that my phone will *only* use my Holafly eSIM for mobile data? Or is there a chance that my phone decides to switch to my regular SIM? *Preferred* sounds to me like that my phone tries to use Holafly but it's not guaranteed. I don't want to deactive my regular SIM because I need this SIM for phone calls and SMS.

Hello, only from Samsung Galaxy S20 models onwards are compatible except for the FE versions. And within that exception there is another exception and that is that the S23 FE, do come with eSIM option. 🙌🏼

I only found out that my phone wasnt compatible when I couldn't install the already purchased esim card.

Hello, Holafly! E-sim noob here, I am also using a S23 Ultra. I just purchased your e-sim for 8 days for my upcoming travel to Germany on July 28 to Aug 5. I installed it way ahead of time, just to make sure I won't be panicking when I will install it inside the airport. I did try choosing the e-sim and it automatically changed to the E-SIM setting after installation but I NEVER TOGGLED the DATA ROAMING on Mobile Networks setting. I just wanna make sure that the e-sim is not activated yet, am I correct? :D Hoping to hear from you!
