Excuse me, I wanna ask The comparative degree of pretty is prettier? Not "more pretty"? Isn't it pretty has 2 syllables not one syllable? Thank you 😊

Good question. There is another rule with 2 syllables ending with y. Here you don't add more instead to remove 'y' and add ier. That's why the correct comparative is prettier. Thanks
