As added incentive, I’ll put a 2 star reward on step 12. This way, in case the first team to play keeps going over the edge into the lava, the other side can still have something to gain by going for the 2 stars rather than automatically winning. Good game!

hi, thank you for your game. I have a question. For the second team, how many times can they throw the dice? Should they throw the dice the same as the first team?
@GuysWithGamesESL Жыл бұрын
Each team can throw the dice as many times as they want, until they decide to stop. Hope this helps.

I don't understand... can you help me?
@GuysWithGamesESL Жыл бұрын
Sure. The first student rolls the dice to climb the steps until they say stop or fall into the volcano. The second student then does the same. The one who stops at a higher position wins the point. I use it to practice spelling vocabulary words.

@@GuysWithGamesESL How is rolling the dice relates to practicing spelling? you haven't explained the connection?
@GuysWithGamesESLАй бұрын
@@wonderworld1928 the students are spelling a word before they play. Playing the game is essentially the reward (and motivating factor) for them to do the English task.
