just finishing up 2 months of summer school (all activities, no books or lessons), so it has been quite challenging. I have improved my skill of listening over these hard weeks. of watching the kids carefully to figure out what captures their imagination, then planning lessons they will benefit from. the struggle to become a good teacher is always a work in progress, and it never ends. I really miss your lives, and hope you start to post more often. God bless you brother.

Good to hear from you again. I’ll be very busy, starting next week with the new semester, but it was fun to make a video again. I’ll try to work them in if I have something worth sharing. Glad your struggle continues. You have a healthy outlook on teaching.

Games I like to play? I’ve found the Vocano game to be unbelievably popular in every school I’ve taught in. Along with “High/Low” which can really get the older kids talking about who the gamblers are.

How many cards do you put on the table? 26? Or are there duplicate letters? Also, how much time do the students get?
@GuysWithGamesESL Жыл бұрын
There are duplicate letters. My set is the same as scrabble tiles, which is 100 letters. I give the kids ten seconds to think of their words.

It's been a long time since your last video, where have you been?
@GuysWithGamesESL10 ай бұрын
We’ve been busy working on different projects. It may take some time, but I’m sure we will have more videos to make in the future.
