Thank you! There’s a “download as” button where you can save it in a variety of file types. Depending on what size you want your book to be, start with that file size/shape (you can enter a custom size when you create a new project).

ESL Teacher 365 is the clip art or background images copyrighted? Say if you did want to publish on amazon, would you be flagged for that?

@@mallorylogan-u9y If you have a Canva subscription then you get a license to use the clip art and photos. You can also check the copyright info on each individual photo and there is some information on the Canva website about copyright as well.

What size should be the book, for printing?

You can create the book in any size you like - there’s an option to put in your custom size. I use the “presentation” format because I use the animated version of the book in my online classes.

Good afternoon! Nice day! I am a student and I use canva free account for our task of creating a story book. Actually that was a group task and we managed to use canva elements (those free elements only) for the illustrations of our story book. Do we have the right to claim a copyright on our work? Can we publish it if ever? Thank you.

You will have to look at each individual element separately for the copyright info. There is some information on the copyright on the actual Canva website so I recommend looking at that.

Honestly, the Pro version is worth it because you have access to way more images and features. If you are planning on selling the books, I would recommend the Pro version.

I use the presentation size since I use them as digital books for the online classroom, but you can use either Canva templates (US letter size, etc) or choose custom sizing.
