The message of the film is that we humans always want comfort in life even if it is unhealthily for us. The peppers which gave them a pleasure of hot bath almost cost them their lives. Having sufferd the disaster. They refused the peppers but the business minded ppl again resort to exploitation of ppl just by reintroducing the same unhealthy products.

Very good representation of our society, and amazingly done! I like how the baby/kid was the only one that learn the lesson, it's true that adults sometimes are too thick-headed to change their ways.

I think you missed the part where the kid went to go join the adults buying peppers at the end, actually no one in the whole film understood but the penguin who first found the peppers.

J'adore le clin d'oeil de la fin, comme si acheter "bio" équivalait à acheter de manière responsable ! Une animation vraiment superbe, la glace et l'eau sont merveilleux, les plumages sont magnifiques, et le message est vraiment bien transmis : un lanceur d'alerte qui se fait clouer le bec par un (gros) lobby !

It took me a bit to understand it and why implying the organic product on it. I actually had to read some comments, to help me out. I think is talking about how people behave when it comes to distraction/entertainment and how we are being influenced by big bosses/company which only look up for money without even care of the environment or people's safeness.

Hé, c'est vraiment bien ! Autant le message avec le petit twist du "organic" à la fin que l'animation en elle même. C'est du super boulot. Je sais pas si c'est moi, mais j'ai l'impression que le montage de cette animation est mieux que les autres. Je pense aux transitions notamment. Il y a beaucoup de "scènes invisibles" que le téléspectateur comprend sans avoir besoin de lui montrer et ça donne un côté plus dynamique au court-métrage, on a pas le temps de s'ennuyer. Il me semble que dans d'autres animations c'était au contraire un peu plus lent car les scènes montraient plus de choses ce qui freinait un peu l'histoire. En soit l'un comme l'autre sont bien, mais ça m'a assez surpris et fait plaisir ce type de montage là dans cette vidéo.

I don't know what the hell kind of chilis those were, but I want that on my lunch. clever analogy, short therm profit and immediate gratification vs long term effects, everybody wanting to make a little more and feel a little better for a second refuses to listen to anyone who tells them that things have to get a bit worse in order to get better. "I'm so cold, I've been cold all my life, now this penguin says I can't be warm even once!" The world isn't in the state it is in because of evil villains who get creepy joy out of polluting, it it's in the state it is in because people are unhappy and instead of facing their problems, they buy a temporary escape. But the world can't buy a temporary escape from us...

Wow this is ingenious!!!! At 1st I was like 'Why the heck r u trying to blame Global Warming on a bunch of harmless penguins?'.But then the 'organic' bit at the end,according to me takes this clip to a whole new lvl. It seems to me like a classic take on today's society where it is all about new diet fads and organic farmer's market.Healthy green food fresh off from a farm which used to be scorned at(more accurately replaced by western fast food),seems to be the new "Trend" these days.If something is labelled as "organic" by some retail store or a MNC chain,we immediately gobble it up.We don't mind paying that extra dollar as long as we believe its "organic" ,while all the while it just takes only some time and effort to cultivate some kitchen garden veggies by using techniques like hydroponics or rooftop gardening.We have workouts by celebrities by the dozen and miraculous panacea which claims to get rid of all that extra fat.All of which has in turn seemed to've turned us into health "freaks".

No it "only takes some time and effort" to get a regular ground Garden going it takes a bunch of money to get a rooftop garden or hydroponic Garden. Don't get me wrong I've heard the returns are good but it's not all about time and effort because its three times faster and far less labor-intensive and near impossible to do without money.
