Eso’s game balance and patches are like a cut that you put a bandaid on, then instead of taking the bandaid off to treat the problem, air out the wound, and apply ointment to heal, they instead stacked 400 other bandaids on top of the old ones hoping that would heal the wound. Never fixing broken systems or overpowered gear/skills instead they try to use other gear and systems to fix the other ones, then brake stuff in the process that they will just make more gear and systems to try and fix that one, and so on & on & on.

100% I think there is a Bethesda bible somewhere that says “Thou shalt not revisited any code on pain of death”. At least that’s how they behave.

@@Nightharrow literally 😂 idk if you were around for the lighting patch in year one of eso. They broke the entire game but refused to roll back the changes. Instead they just did patch after patch after patch to try and fix the lag that the one light patch caused. They never said any of the lag was caused by the patch and refused to take any criticism. PvP at that time you couldn’t even walk without crashing or freezing. They had 5x the players we have now in any instance and their solution was just remove players which is why pvp has like 200 player pop when it use to be 5x that😂 same thing now with hybrids and class balances etc etc.

This years new content is going to be fixing & balancing the game by introducing more crown crates. Instead of spell crafting, it’s more crown crates. The new patches notes will be more crown crates, and lastly they will end off their 10 year anniversary with more crown crates!!!!! 😮🎉

@@xboxgamerz22 lightning skills too, and roll back the hybrids bc it cut build diversity/ balance/ fun, etc in half. You use to have stam dk vs mag dk with their difference now you get just dk with one way to play. They need to roll back hybrids. Also make max stat a thing. I’ve said make heals scale off of max stat and not dmg/max hp. But sadly again all they will do is ignore everything and add more crates. There solution is the milk us with crates and it’s sad. Playing this game for a decade and watch the devs just dry out the community with their greedy, lazy, garbage monetization, and handling of the game. The lore team does amazing I will say but when the mechanics of the game and the way they handle criticism is just pathetic. You’ll get banned on the forums for giving them criticism. Sad state truly.

Question… so I’m champion point 900 and my sets are fully golded out, Am I at max damage that I’ll always do now? I can’t increase damage or power? That only took 50 days kinda lame. Thx

ESO is mostly skill, so it depends what you are doing dps wise. But yes, I think you are basically there. What do you parse? I should also note, there are support sets and specialized sets that work better for some situations, but for sure you could be there.

@@Nightharrow ok thanks, I’m going to parse today but I believe it’ll be around 80-90k. Just an oakensoul sergeant storm master build, I also fully golded my sergeant Alessian for tanking dungeons. Thx for the response.

@@Nightharrow I parsed 109K max and 76K average. My point was it’s boring now that I have nothing to work towards no more power gain, the end game is just clothes lol. I already have a sick outfit and levelling means nothing now. Huge misstep on eso’s part.

A possibility is “jewel runes on weapons” to make them even better. It is crafting. But this is all wishful thinking on my part

Pft…ain’t no trees in Grahtwood…smh. I don’t think they’ll do spell crafting. It would be way too broken-bug wise and playing wise. On the off chance that it is relatively bug free, players could easily exploit it to do insane amounts of damage or buffs. What comes to mind is the spellcrafting in Morrowind where you can literally jump across all of Vvardenfell. I doubt ZOS would allow that, but it’s that level of spellcrafting that comes to mind. Or, spell crafting could be excessively expensive to do with little to no benefit. I think that’s more ZOS style. Probably more expensive than jewelry crafting.

Yeah, I agree, and for the same reasons. You can also see that what they described as spell crafting looks like it tuned into spells we already have and enchanting. The UI even looks the same. On the balance thing, I agree as well. All the sets in the game that could be abused… all pet sorcs would def become a thing. lol

Like make a 6-8 person mode? That would definitely be different. Although they do act like changing the number of people allowed in an instance is a huge deal.

IMO spell crafting is not the system eso needs. Ppl will find just the most broken combination and all other options would be ignored. Rework of some outdated systems would be more appreciated.

The problem with eso is there are to many things that are broken or need to be fixed. Imo they should treat spell crafting like mw2, if everything is broken then its balanced in a way. Way to many changes need to happen to pvp to balance pvp, proc sets in themselves are broken, so spell crafting would have to complete with zaan, rel, pillar, fire, master dw, vate, etc. eso as a game is a cute that you put a bandaid on, then instead of taking the bandaid off to treat the problem they have stacked 400 other bandaids on top of the old ones hoping that the wound has healed.

They are incapable of created a balanced spell crafting system... spell crafting needs to be cosmetic only i.e. ice breath from a dragon knight, of which the mag and stam versions should have a different hue but they are 100% incapable of making spell crafting without breaking the game
