Things I'd recommend if you don't normally have ESO+: 1. Public Dungeon group events in DLC zones. Each public dungeon event awards 1 fast and easy skill point. There's also 1 skyshard in each public dungeon as usual. 2. Orzorga's quests in Wrothgar for the 4 amazing food recipes. Fishing in Artaeum for 2 more great food recipes. Clockwork city Outlaw's Refuge quests for the chef, yet another great food recipe. 3. Jewelry crafting certification in Summerset. If you stockpile a bunch of crafted jewelry, you can still pick up and complete the daily Jewelry writs after free ESO+ trial is over (unless they changed this). 4. Psijic Order skill line from Artaeum. Race Against Time and Temporal Guard are great skills, so are the Psijic passives. Also you will still have access to Psijic portal spawns in the world after ESO+ trial is over. 5. Antiquities skill lines in Western Skyrim. This is a huge pain in the ass, but once you get them to 7 (maybe even higher), you can finally do the Mythic leads. Some of the best ones to go for are Death Dealer's Fete, Ring of the Pale Order, Ring of the Wild Hunt, Spaulders of Ruin, Thrassian Stranglers, and Gaze of Sithis. The last one requires rank 4 in Dark Brotherhood and some luck with the time-gated BS merchant's lead. I believe you can do any Mythic lead so long as it's not from the newest High Isle zone, so no Oakensoul or Sea Serpent's Coil unfortunately. 6. DLC Arenas for weapon sets. Maelstrom, Vateshran, and Blackrose Prison all have a bunch of great weapons. I think Dragonstar is actually base game but can't remember. 7. DLC Dungeons. There's tons of great sets you now have access to. Just 2-3 runs should get you 5 body pieces which is fine for many of the sets. 8. Last time I checked during a free trial, ZoS still blocked access to Companions in Blackwood for anyone without ESO+. Total BS considering you can access Antiquities system from Western Skyrim. It's worth checking Blackwood to see if they've changed their mind.

I have ESO Plus, I think it's great for the fact that collecting mats quickly fills up inventory, it doesn't matter how much bag space you have you will run out of inventory space without ESO Plus. Plus the extra crowns helps as well.

I was just looking at my new craft bag. It's using nearly 300 slots. Can't imagine how much gold it would take to reach that much. My bank is around 120 and takes 30k or more to upgrade.
