Do you feel that Bashcro is the best for Bash Build? Or do you think DK might be the top spot? I've tried Necro but it's one of the weakest classes in game right now. DK is taking #1 for everything mostly. Also, ever tried Stuhn's for Bashcro?

Hey, great question! I have a really long answer for you lol So I did try stuhns on a scythe bash build, I actually tried fragmansauls soul collector build with stuhns, and it shredded people in open world but in bgs sustain was lacking for me (especially since I play playstation and can't keybind my bash to be a seperate command from block) I have found more success taking the scythe off and using pierce armor for pennetration. Also I decided I liked playing bash as more of a support role. I can be a tanky distraction, help wipe enemy teams when I time my ultimate with my teammates ults. And I can feed my teammates major heroism to make them stronger. But stuhns is probably a great choice for open world solo play! I have played around with DK bash builds, I have not tried this same drakes rush loadout on my DK. My DK bash build I was testing deadlands demolisher with mechanical acuity. It melted people in duels. Feels strong. DK bash build may be better then a Necro bash build, I don't know if I'm the person to really weigh in on that. I know for me, on my DK there are many builds I can make that are stronger than a bash build. Almy armory slots are filled up on my DK with plaguebreak builds, and master's dw builds and Perma corrosive builds. So I just don't feel a need to play bash on my DK, where as both of my necros were formerly harmony builds and I'm trying to repurpose my necros. I will say DK and Necro don't feel too dissimilar. Dk ult you get back faster and it gives you your resources when you use your ultimate. So I like using power slam on DK because I can go corrosive, it will fill up my stamina pool, and I can use that Stam to power slam people. I think the Necro ultimate obviously is capable of greater AoE damage especially if someone in your group is giving out breech for you. I also think with abilities like spirit guardian, resostent flesh, deadened pain, and mortal coil the Necros strengths are in being tanky. So you said Necro is one of the worst classes, that's because they have a poor offensive kit right now and you have to leave their class abilities to use weapon abilities to make a good build. However if you're playing a bash build your bash is your spammable, so it doesn't matter that boneyard got nerfed and the flame skulls suck. Additionally if you really lean into that pummeling Goliath ultimate. I think the Necros strengths of being tanky and having good sustain really suit the playstyle of a bash build well. I have had a 14-0 K/D game on my bash cro and a 16-0 K/D BG on my DK. At the end of the day they feel similar to me. So it will come down to your preference.

@@spideysense1847 Fascinating information. I recently made a DK just to pretty much test it out and see how it went. But I'm unsure what set to use. Stuhn's is a really bad idea for this one. There are some sets out there that compliment bash build nicely for each class, but it's only for 1 class. I'm trying to figure out what would be good for Templar and DK right now. It's a process.

@@Lord_Silimar I would suggest trying trial by fire if you want to be tanky, daedrick trickery for well rounded survivability and damage (you'll get ult back faster) acuity is good for a pure damage build. I've read that crit is really good for bash builds so orders wrath could be a good one although I haven't tested it yet, which would also give you crit healing on a 1 bar. And then from what I understand veiled inheritance is a really good set as well. From what I understand stand weapon and spell damage don't boost your bash damage, only bash damage glyphs and buffs will boost bash damage, but weapon and spell damage can boost your power slam and your heals, so veiled interitance would be good on a corrosive DK with power slam

How many times do I have to tell you this Sillyman, Necrobash is the king of damage and nothing else. the entire build hinges on Goliath. The only real problem is Necro's lack of versatility. Movement can determine fights and Necro is a sitting duck. Even with the vampblink. I'm actually drafting a sorcbash setup because of defensive rune in duels but instead of running a pure damage set or crit set. I'd like to run something that improves survivability. Like Grace of Gloom, or even Alessian because sorcs passives are top tier. DK would be your best bet but you absolutely have to spec for sustain or your high damage will fall flat when you're panicking for resources. Damage isn't everything. Most of my fights with top tier players are long and drawn out. Most low teir builds like stealthblades and templar jabbers get crushed underfoot by most bash setups. Anything under 24k health is an easy fight. It is an incredibly oppressive build that has crazy survivability. No matter how much damage you stack in the first 4 seconds of a fight if they are good and decently tanky they will survive and if they do you have to be able to handle their retaliation. Which is where bash can struggle. And in my experience it's biggest pitfall is healing capacity due to low ability scaling or being consistently out of resources. If you are gassed there is nothing stopping your opponent from parsing full damage rotations on you. If you are atleast fighting they are healing, shielding or running and dodging. Anything to stop them from parsing like a trial dummy. The bash game is more mental than just what sets you run. I get the fantasy of Goliath though. It's a badass ultimate. But that feeling of when this really good player is soaking my bashes and survives the duration of your ulti. That realization that your trump card didn't do him in and you have nothing else to play in your favor. That is why I switched off of Necro.

Ah yea, and i dont have oakensoul xd.I want to start messing around with bash builds, but I don't know where to start. There are almost no fresh videos at least six months ago on KZbin. Necro looks funny, but I don't want to level new char for only one build (only if I really like it, may be).

Excellent build! You are fully optimized around Bashing... I like the fact that Bashing speeds up regenerating your Goliath Form which appears to be unbeatable as it'll have strong resists AND 70k+ Health... Nobody is bursting that solo unless you fall asleep at the controls... Again, excellent build!

Thank you for the compliments, I've been having the most fun on this out of all my builds right now. But it can be vulnerable outnumbered at times without the mortal coil just because the healing isn't a strong point. I may work on a two bar version we will see :)

I have been farming Storm Master and Overwhelming surge for a while and sorta took a look at the Jolting Arms set, I wonder if that would be a good replacement for Drake's Rush since it is a good burst for Bashing in general but the cooldown is a bit too long but nonetheless its pretty easy to get ahold of.

Guessing you could go markyn or a full monster set if you wanted to with an arena weapon backbar? If so how would you approach that?

I haven't made a 2bar build yet, but I think you could make one it would just have different strengths and weaknesses. So oakensoul gives you minor protection, minor mending, and minor heroism. All of these are great buffs. You could slot psijic ultimate front bar to get minor protection and back bar your Goliath ultimate. You'd have to run heroism potions or the heroic slash to get your minor heroism, depending how you set your bars up you might have room for heroic slash. If you decide to back bar a set you can use a mythic and a monster set like blood spawn or malabeth the scourger (malabeth would help make up for the loss of minor mending by giving you vitality) , but then you'd have to switch to your back bar and bash to proc drake's rush. I think it's more smooth/fluid to have both sets on the front bar. So if you run both sets on front bar, you'd have to back bar at an arena weapon. 2 good choices are vateshran 2h for more weapon and spell damage or vateshran void bash back bar so you can use your Goliath, bash and draw people in with an AoE pull and then swap to your front bar and go offensive. But if you run sword and board on both bars you'll need a source for major brutality, and running brutality potions won't give you the same sustain as tri pots do. You'll have to test a lot and see what feels best. Oakensoul is definitely simple in that you will spend less time bar swapping and more time bashing. But two bar will allow you to play around with more skills and sets and options. I personally don't like markyn. I think it's one of the most average mythics for most builds. Jack of all trades master of none type beat. If you're a nightblade and squishy the resistences from markyn are nice. But I think for a bash build where you're stacking max health, death dealers would be the mythic I would test if I tested a mythic on it. But I might even try running it without a mythic. Just a monster set, two 5pc sets and an arena weapon. I'm not an expert though.

You could probably tank some dungeons and some easier vet dungeons with this build. But I wouldnt suggest it for serious hardcore 4 man vet content

I tried to slab on same shit my arcanist wears but my Dk gets melted by healing debuff and procs…maybe deadlands demolisher and trickery like u use on your arcs will work for dk

@@MrJeppo96 that's awesome. I want to put our a build video soon. I have dueling setups and BG set ups. 1vX setups and small group team play set ups. What else do you run on your bash? I was using a 1 bar bash build on DK a few patches ago 5pc daedrick trickery 5pc deadlands. Or 5pc deadlands and 5pc mechanical acuity. And it was alot of fun tbh. And I wrecked some people in duels I had no business beating. But idk if that's the best set up or not.

@@MrJeppo96 to be honest, I only played DK bash for about a week or two just to test it. I main a DK and need my armory slots for other things. Right now I only bash on Necro and Arcanist. I would test some things and try to make a video for you but I have limited transmutes and time right now unfortunately. Let me know if you come up with aomething good. I've never tried veiled inheritance actually. Do you think for dueling 5pc deadlands and 5pc veiled ia stronger than deadlands with 5pc shattered fate?

Why use necro as bash when dk it fit better and second especially why using vigor when necro have best healing abilities also spirit skill suck and that is my opinion but is not a bad build.

I have DK bash builds too, this is the guide for my Necro bash. Vigor heals really fast, it's one of the only heals that ticks every second instead of every two seconds, and vigor also gives minor resolve increasing my resistences by almost 3000 and making me tanky. What would you put on the bar instead of an vigor?

@SpideySense well mostly vigor is a good skill but there is better heal skill like necromancer do have 2 or 3 great heal skill that recover the health fast also that set that you have I been trying to get but I don't know if it worth it because I'm looking for a 2 set that increase bash damage big time so I am not sure if this set is only one that do it.

@@xboxgamerz22 deadlands demolisher is very strong and that's one of the reasons it's one of the most popular choices for bash builds. Veiled inheritance also has some lines on it that increase bash. But deadlands demolisher is craftable so it's very easy to obtain
