ESO Datamine July 2024 - Update 43

This is the latest ESO Datamine (July 2024) from the Update 10.1.0 on PTS (Update 43). It features future Crown Store items and the next Crown Crate season, Dark Brotherhood Crown Crates.

The new Crown Crate season this time is called "Dark Brotherhood." It is themed, of course, after the eponymous guild of Sithis and Night Mother-worshipping assassins. These Dark Brotherhood Crates will likely be available from late September to late December. Their Radiant Apex mounts could be the Ardor's Devotion Senche-raht, Hollowsoul Steed and Reaper's End Quasigriff.

@@brigluernos I don't think it's worth it even for free to play when compared to other games currency to dollar conversion. And the company is backed by Microsoft and eso has made 2 bil over it's 10yr life span. I don't feel Sympathy for them in this market. Cost of crowns for what you get is ridiculous. And the amount of stuff locked behind gambling mechanics is also ridiculous. Even with endeavors which is really there to get around EU regulations.

Their currency value who can be expensive for some states or the drop rate of "interesting stuff". Back in the time crowns crate were more rewarding than now. Vanilla ESO didn't age well too

That would be… underwhelming. A black horse with red eyes? I mean maybe as an epic or superior crown crate reward. But Shadowmere can’t compete with the aethetics of radiant apex style mounts.

@@2AWNY a horse that recalls by rising out of murky water and smoke, with glowing red eyes? Sure slightly underwhelming. But keep the smoke, but instead of hazy black/grey.. blood red. Unique D.B. tack. With Trample, give Shadowmere a special animation, that other mounts wouldn't have under the same circumstances. There are things that could be done.

@@2AWNY considering I hate the glowy loud recalls, I guess I saw it in my head but didn't express what I meant well. The shadowy blood drip would stay. She already left the glowing hoof prints, I didn't say that, because it's there in Skyrim along with how she 1st appears. Which is what the recall would be. Perhaps I'm more describing my limits in a mount I'd want, than what people who LIKE the glow and noise would want. I like understated, I'd love a Shadowmere only slightly more showy than her Wiki description... Skyrim horse models left a lot to be desired.

This has to be one of my favorite crown seasons. I finally just started farming the nightblade IA set too that has that red aethetic to it. Some of these items are going to look sick with the NB build I’m working on building. And shoot, it’ll probably take me several months for all the farming with my job. So right around when these should come out for the fall season.

So...if I'm not mistaken, this seems to hint at maybe future content centered around Sithis mythology which would of course, heavily involve Argonians which many of us have been thinking would be a new expansion zone. Likewise the Dark Brotherhood stuff seems to point to a similar vein...maybe a dungeon leading up to the Chapter where we investigate a Sithis cult?

I think, there is a strong shortage of open-torso outfits in the game, especially with good textures, they released only one - the "bloodhunter" outfit. There are a lot of monotonous "closed" outfits in the game, made according to the same standard, this applies to the outfits from this video. For example, leather and especially metal cuirasses with bare arms or even, better yet, a half-protected, open torso. Visually, not too heavy and not too light. In fact, I only know 2 good outfits out of all of them, this is the average version of the Minotaur and Gladiator outfit of the “dead lands”.And I still don't understand why they constantly make helmets and masks without eyes (holes), maybe they think it looks unusual. But in my opinion, it doesn't look like "a finished work".The "Minotaur polymorph" is not detailed enough and does not look fierce (poorly equipped).

ESO is an embarrasing bugfest that ZOS doesnt care to fix as long as you keep shoveling money at them. You cant even pvp in cyrodiil cause the lag spikes will eat your inputs. This game is barely more than the failure fallout 76 was, and by the same people. Don't waste your money on this horrible game black desert is better
