I did the grand master fishing thing for vanity, I have a home with a lot of water, and wanted the world vendor boat ,here is the the thing, I very quickly realised a lack of worms is an issue, having reached out to my guild, I received a lot of worms. I completed this achievement in around 3 days, gained around 50 perfect roe, and gifted nearly all of them to the guild members, that helped me in my hour of need with the lack of worms. If anyone goes for this thing, you are going to need a lot of worms that are few and far between. also finding the right fishing hole, that is a whole other experience for you to find out.

I just sold stacks of 50 fish for 40k each. Perfect roe was going for 80k so if the rate is roughly 100fish/roe I'd say sell the fish and let someone else take the risk.

You can get pretty lucky if you filet a large stack of fish in one go, 150 ish filet is around where i usually filet my fish, and i get 3-4 roe more often than not, with provisions set up, you can get 4 psijic potions per one craft which can go for about 30k on my server, the roe it self sells on the high end of 90k, but is usually in the low 80s. Even with the taxes, youre making more money with the potions than the roe, and not to mention, the potions are in higher demand than the roe due to some not having the provision skill or recipe to craft them, plus, if you get the 100% potion recipe, the craft ingredient to it is 50 writ vouchers, which you can get relatively easy if you have 2-3 mastered craft skills, or just straight up buying them at the guild stores

Yeah making potions is a good way to get a bit of extra cash, I hear that maybe they updated the drop rates of roe since this video but at the time generally I was lucky to get a roe every 200 fish but it’s all RNG

I just did it for a bit. Legit 17 fish gave me ROE!!!! What do I do with the green fish? I can’t fillet them

Nice that’s pretty lucky, and you just sell the coloured fish to a merchant for the extra gold :)

If you find a good spot it can be lucrative. The xp potion sells if you have the recipes

You can make money from it yeah I just think its slower than other methods but its good passive income if you are doing master angler or anything like that

yep if you make the exp pot you make even more money, but just selling the roe is enough to get you started, then when you have enough money, buy the recipe and start farming the mats you need to make even more money. but id still rather do surveying, BUTTT thats like 80k in 3 hours (but dosnt require you to be in cp levels), its more activate and less brain dead for me and i wouldn't die of boredom like fishing.

maybe on console, on PC fish sell for sooo much more. 300-600 each fish. i sell stacks of 100 and they go sooo fast

I price checked them on PC NA and they are 20 gold per fish but maybe on EU they are more im not sure

You are talking about the non skinned ones, meanwhile i think he is selling the skinned ones, the difference in prices is for the chance at getting perfect roe

Absolutely not! Fishing in ESO is by far the most boring activity in all of video games. Its not interesting, not challenging, repetitive, and takes too much time. I understand people fish in ESO mainly for the end result of making gold, but there are tons of 'actually fun' activities to do that you can make gold.

Bro, people are buying and selling stacks of uncut fish for 55-60k all day on PSNA, I know because I went to buy 10 stacks to try and get perfect roe lol. Those were the cheapest prices I could find and I searched traders and zone chat for hours.
