The Master Merchant tooltip says 5574.11 gold.......................................... PER ITEM. You should have put those ten up for 55711 gold. You put the ten up for 5200 gold. You LOST 50511 gold. LOL. Other than that horrible mistake, your guide is solid. :)* Oh another mistake: You kept saying "drop your price below the master merchant price, so that they see that you're cheaper than the Master Merchant average". That's total nonsense advice. The price YOU see in YOUR Master Merchant is only on YOUR personal computer. It's based on the guilds YOU are a member of and the data YOU have seen. Nobody else in the game sees your numbers. Their numbers are wildly different. If anything, the only addon we can trust to be universal is TTC, since it does a global data sync for every player, so feel free to undercut the TTC prices.

The problem with this method is that it depends on having not many competitors in the field. If you are the only speculator (yes, that's the term I use) doing that, it gets really easy. If more people do it, it just becomes not worth your time, and it would be more fruitful to farm materials, etc.

Not necessarily. As long as there are players selling items in this game, this method will always work. itll be a bit harder if there are more people to compete with for the items, but the gold you will make in the time you spend doing this will still outshine pure farming. The only time i like to just pure farm is if i have a secondary thing i want to do, like farming TelVar for Hakeijo. You gain exp, make some gold, and have a chance for some good pvp. but for pure gold making, this is my favorite and by far my most successful method.

I go to an area in kvatch the area that is enclosed with a water feature on the map.. There are 4 order of hour guards and 3 npc in this area that respawn when you kill them with assassins blade.. This is better than pickpocketing because you can loot the bodies taking only green or higher loot.. With TG skills maxed you can fill up your inventory in an hour to sell up to 140 loot items that you can sell to fence at 10% increased profit.. Green =110gold blue=275g purple=1500g and yellow (rare) 15000g with only these to sell to your fence you can make minimum 20k in 30 min of killing in loop round water feature.. By the time you have killed the four guards round water feature they are respawning you can do this as long as you want but you have a max 140 fence sales per character per day more characters you have the better I never bother with white loot as it is only worth 44g but if doing bursar tribute quest from clockwork city then collect the 5 white pieces of relevant loot while you're doing it.. You will also pick up stolen glyphs, weapons armour to deconstruct and ornate pieces to sell also 10% more via fence Plus tons of dried blood to craft dark brotherhood style gear.. If you get a bounty it doesn't matter because no kvatch guards patrol inside this area the key to not getting any bounty is to time your killings of the 3 npc that wander in a set pattern and don't pickpocket just murder.. Pickpocketing will fill up your inventory automatically with white loot that you don't need..i discovered this trick by chance running from a bounty looking for a place to hide.. I been doing this with 2 characters per day for weeks and have made a fortune

Purple loot with 10% profit is actually 1650g.. 1500g is flat rate

Tamriel Trade Center i invaluable too when doing this to see how flooded the market is, and also if people are starting to undercut certain items. Aso, with streamers like Inkings and JhartEllis showing everyone how to do this, its harder to get as good of deals as easily as it used to, but you still can. Keeping up with refreshing TTC for low selling items can be a quick way to get the first nab at bigger items. The more and more people that start doing though, you make more profit in smaller increments. btw Im in Spicy Economics and Ancient Traders in Mournhold too XD

I've pretty much come to just getting the mats, because for everything else finding an item with good liquidity is like a needle in a haystack. The mats overall sell most reliably, and I consistently get about 25% deals for stuff like platings, furnishing and quality improvement stuff.

Yeah the market went to shit this year as far as flipping Weapons, Armors, Praxis and Motifa goes. The Christmas sale got a lot of new players i to the game but it will take a long while for most of them to become potential buyers and create new flipping potentials.

did you try flipping the same items after player interest moved onto other things? For example, as of summerset patch mother's sorrow is suddenly being sold for 200k gold per item, even tho it was worth 12k prior...same thing can happen with an item being worth a fuckton and then players moving on or over supply causing prices to drop even tho u already listed at a certain value

been trying this for the past day and this is a great method i started with 10k gold which was all i had and in the past 10hrs i went up to 190k gold. this is the best method i have seen sofar.

I really feel like the guild market has somewhat destabilized, because some of the listed prices are absurdly low, just because everyone wants to undercut everyone else. If I could I would (for example) buy all the grand soul gems currently for sale on NA server, then re-list them in fractions of a stack at moderate prices. I mean, yes you play the market by undercutting by a percentage but eventually, an item (like grand soul gems) is going to be intrinsically worthless to anyone other than a vendor. A vendor sells full ones at 150g and literally the best way to sell them as a player is to a vendor for 30g! That is a substantial margin of loss. I also feel like another part of it is because everyone treats the guild stores like an auction house. Two very different functions.This video, more people need to put to use and eventually, hopefully, the market will restabilize.

OKay, so iI might be running into a problem with Awsomeguildstore. When i use Awsomeguildstores it only shows like 2-3 items when i filter on blue or higher deals. I thought I was just unlucky or didn't have enough information to compare sales, but when I click "show more results" it sometimes shows more items on a new page. Is it normal to have to go through like 24 pages or more per guild with a lot of them showing nothing or do I have some wrong settings in Awsomeguildstore? It seems like the addon can only look at the 100 items (seen at the bottom "Items on Page") at one time and filters the good deals out of only these 100 items.

Yeah it's normal the problem youre having, it's due to the way AGS interacts with ZoS's API that its only able to show a certain amount of data per page when doing searches like that. normally ill go through the first few pages and then move on. past that the deals/items are too old. you really only want to try to flip recently posted items (30 days left) from my experiences. if an item has been there for awhile and it's "a good sell", it probably isnt since no one has purchased it.

How do you make AGS compound the results into one page? Even skipping empty pages, it takes MUCH more time for me to scan through store inventories to find deals.

Gold making is same in every mmo really... 1. learn real prices of things 2. learn current meta (some thing sell well on patch XY, other may sell well on patch XXY... flipping something that sells 10 units every week with 10% margin is far better than something that sells once per month with 40% margin. You can have listed these slow selling items but they should not be a bulk of your portfolio). 3. undercut only by a smallest possible amount 4. if you want to reset* your market, do it 100% or not at all 5. do not be afraid to PM someone. If you have only 1 or 2 real competitors PM them and try create a cartel with them (basically agreement on price or market shares or agreeing on not flooding certain market which would drive prices down... I had this in wow with few competitors making enchants... we agreed on splitting this market and keeping an eye on small-timers selling for peanuts. It was very profitable agreement). *reset = if prices fall way too low you can attempt to reset that particular market by buying everything below desired price (even if it means reselling part of it with small or no margin)

Try to talk to people in other guilds to see if theyre in trading guilds with traders in major cities! or talk in zone saying youre looking for a trader in a major city. it can take awhile but once you get in those guilds youll be able to sell sell sell!

I remember when seveth leagion was all the rage i bought 30 necklaces 1k each and sold them all for 7k a piece. Hearthwood was another good one during the launch of homestead, bout 1k heartwood at 500gp each and soldem for 5k each. Unrelated but my biggest regret is i wish i did maw more when motifs were worth 60k.. I still need moondancer and im buryed in them >.>

+SamWinchester007 you're not guaranteed to find items every day. Some days I couldn't find much to resell. Check all the major cities and some remote traders. If you don't find much, try again another day

Youd be able to tell by the number of purchases you have recorded in your MM. If an item is bought alot, that means it's in high demand

Great video! I cat farm and fence stolen goods. Only accumulate around 12K every 1 to 2 hours though lol. And I also re-sell exchanged items in the guilds I am in. Give back mostly around 75% of what I make off of it. So, middle man kinda thing. :) Aweosme video again, thank you! Cheers

That addon should be renamed Nightmare Guild Store. It's a huge pain in the arse when ur trying to find general things like motifs etc. Uninstalling now & good riddance. No amount of gold's worth that much frustration.....

it's not mandatory to use AGS to do this method. you can do it without it. simply sort by time remaining and scroll through the list of items. i just like to use AGS so i dont have to scroll as much, but thats just me!

Hey man Go to humblemud house in bal foyen , farm all the nodes there. Don’t spend gold on any wayshrines ever Never repair your gear ^keep doing the dungeons for your gear sets that you like to wear and keep doubles and triples or more of all of them, and then once one is broken open up your banker and switch to the other one. Deconstruct the broken one Don’t spend gold on respec for skill points... You should make 100 k per day doing this on a loop Farm when your waiting for the dungeons Sell everything ornate Join 5 trading guilds and buy low sell high. Millions in a week
