I can't believe this isn't more popular. This is one of the best instructional videos I have seen. I wanted to learn more about furniture and design. I am rather unimpressed with the furniture availability. As a new player I wanted to at least fill a room or maybe two with simple furniture. Instead I got a chest and the armorer table. I do like the trophies. The furniture I get from being ESO+ is lackluster; a table top statuette. The vendors are worse, selling rocks and branches. I'm supposed to pay how much for a rock? (new player gold is very limited.) But your well structured and clear presentation of the various systems brought some clarity to whole housing system for me. I was really impressed by the pathway section. Most videos I have seen just say you can set a pathway and leave it at that. You even made the sad vendor selection seem better by explaining that each vendor provided flora and stone of the region, with one or two additional items. Thank you for breathing life back into my desire to properly furnish my way too large house and my way too small apartments. Patchup here and ingame PS I eagerly await the day Forgemaster Falls returns. My main Character is an Orc.

I really love the housing system, but there are definitely things like weather and being able to have companions and house guests interact with things! I have a question...if I own a house in Alinor and stop paying ESO plus one day, so I don't have access to the Summerset DLC, will I still have access to my house in Alinor?

You’ll still have access to the house, you just can’t use the travel outside option anymore! 😊

Wait can you really make the houseguests interact with objects in your house like eating food or sitting on chairs?

You can’t unfortunately, this would be a great add - they are similar to the NPCs you find out in the world, if you have them stop they’ll use an idle animation to give the impression they’re doing more than just standing around
