ESO PVP Guide - How to Win vs. Nightblades

NB main here. 1. You must be able to react to incap merc combo. If you cannot then build tanky. 2. Always have at least one option to counterplay stealth in your build. If you do these two things you will not struggle with nightblades of equal or lesser skill then you. I recommend finding a nightblade to duel. You’ll get a feel for how often they can incap or merc and start to be able to block / dodge it instinctively.

if you get incapped, hold block. the follow up combo will be pretty much useless if you're blocking.

If the game has decent servers then yes nb combos will not be as deadly. But lags spikes and just general ping raise when ball group procing every aoe there is will mean insta death should that nb have a better internet and lives in texas campared to you playing outside USA.

@@jasonchui111 yeah but that goes for anything. server lag doesn’t influence balance. if your 1vX vs a bursty dk or sorc and you can’t stunbreak your also dead. This isn’t a NB issue

Pots of detection work a treat In smaller area like imperial city you can use sneak to tell if there's a NB nearby about to gank you. If you sneak and it says detected but you aren't near enemies use the detect pot and 9/10 there is a NB next to you.

There's an easy way to distinguish between a seasoned Nightblade and a new one - that's their use of shadow cloak. For a good nightblade - shadow cloak is an offensive tool, not a defensive one. Any nightblade relying on it to survive rather than heal cancelling dodge rolls, blocks, sustain and good shadow image placement for retreat is going to find themselves having a difficult time. Too many nightblades come to cyro and think they can click cloak and that's their defence.

@@mattyquinn9174 Every DoT actually does pull NBs out of stealth. The problem is they don't tick as often as the heal from Structured Entropy, so the NB can just LoS or re-cloak quickly.

EASY!!!! get 11 friends to form a raid with each and EVERYONE having their gear and skills sorted which will give your group maximum everything possible. Then find that 1 proc archanist and go 12 v1 his ass then wisp him lol after your group roll him over like nothing :>

How to survive - 30k HP, Radiant Magelight on bar, high crit resist. How to kill - Snares, AOE attacks, hold block until they attack and then beat them silly. Most people don’t run fear anymore so you should be pretty safe to hold block for the first attack or two.

The easiest way to counter is to rely on audio ques from first the incap and then obveously merc bow. If you hear the incap, you already know merc is coming. The most predictable class imo. Most nbs aren't smart enough to wait for you to dodge roll after the incap before hitting merc. They will almost always hit merc immedietly after they incap you.

Thx for the video, i love your videos and explibations but , we need a sorc template about making damage some tricks , i watch you in almost all the videos , you make dmg looking easy , we could use some templates so we can learn and adapt, the survival its almost ok 😂, but in general i miss making dmg tryed some combos ,they work sone time ,with players that are normal , they disintegrate, but with advance players realy no chance , before i try to make some dmg on a good sorc or dk , with shields up and buf up , can even make dmg a bit i just retreat buf up, try again and dont even fell me im like a npc xd 😂 , its like : ah a prey buf up shield up , targeting curse , overload with spam in to cristal and streak streak cause hes like a tank , 😂😂😂 i would love to se a advance pvp guide with tricks tips, and upgraded with in , thou im tryng to use the builds from your page atm best that i got used its , alfiq,wretched, did try poison staf , shock , sharpen, etc , same results i dont expect to get in pvp and be like you its imposible , but we wold love a upgrade at this month for sorc , staf enchnats why poison why not shock , why sharpend why not etc, a bit of explanations why that why not that , i bet ppl will love those explanations to not in a 2h video , at leats 15 20 min , dam i writed a lot , have a good day and never stop sorc, i main sorc to in every game and wont stop now .with love from Aux and thx for you Sorc dedication and pvp .🎉🎉🎉 ps. A half decent RollBlade with Lefthander's belt is basically unkillable, the combination is so overtuned it's actually stupid.

good nightblade will kill you INSTANTLY. not incap merciless... not a global. *I N S T A N T L Y.* they will pre buff with perfect scion or lights champion, then heavy attack into merc and kill you in 0.1 seconds. the easiest way to tell a BAD nightblade is they run *RALLYING CARRY* set above all, and MUCH less how they actually play the class. you take this set away and they all of a sudden cant play. NOBODY who has played for more than a week will fall for incap merc. if you dont let them do this to you they are a free kill.

Remember guys always annoy devs to nerf solo single target dmg and buff aoe heals and dmg. That way we can all enjoy proper gameplay and never allow solo ppl to play game ;)

Yeah cloak isn't reliable anymore, but it's not that much of a problem because of all the other survivability options for nb

kinda yeah, but nb healing is like it's dmg - mostly burst-ish (esp if u don't use path). And it's not very... suits current meta. i'm talking about being heavily outnumbers or some counter picks like dk. Plus next patch i'm loosing all my pressure tools so gotta play the moment again in environment, where "the moment" could be ruined literally by everything around.
