ESO PvP: StamDK INSANE DoT Pressure BURST Build Tutorial (Scribes of Fate) | "Poisonous Dragon"

All I can say is wow, this newly easy improved build did so much damage both in high damage and extreme Damage Over Time pressure. Dragonknights are known for the best sustain, amazing survivability, and the most insane damage you will ever see. DK's are one of the best Meta open worlders and 1xX 'rs in the game. Truly so much fun with the easiest combo rotations and the burst will make those "easy" One Bar Oakensoul builds call this build overpowered that feels like a one shot. Would you call it OP? Well I hope this meta build tutorial will help you make you DK into the strongest possible.

If you wanna be a true scum like me, take off fossilize and put on talons. The DOT from it is probably 1 of the strongest in the game, it's aoe, It'll immobilize them just whip them whileeeeeeeeee they are in it to set them off balance and then proc your next whip them heavy attack stun into whip. Its a guarantee whip or whatever you want, plus its cheaper than fossilize. The only reason I run fossilize once in a while is if im dueling or getting into 1v2's. Anything higher talons is godly. Plus talon procs burning so if you proc the burning on multiple people with just 1 use its really just refunds itself so its kinda free in 1vx

Dk worst class ever made. Needs major buffs. I suggest whip give major and minor berserk, corrosive should also add 1k weapon and spell damage, holding any melee weapon should give passive weapon and spell damage. Leap should ingore resistance. Using any dragonknight heal should give major and minor vitality and mending.

I made this build and its the exact same except I have a divine on the helm, but my recovery is super low. Mag is 666 and stam is 889 for some reason. Can anyone tell me why?

Are you running Jewels of Misrule/Orzarga’s, also ate you proc’n Wretched Vitality? To proc it be in combat and pop a Race Against Time and you’ll shoot up in Recovery!

This build is very good for no CP environments as well BUT I would Highly recommend swapping out Runecarver’s for Way of the Fire since it’s more bursty, DK’s are honestly really crazy good rn with this build we have Wretched Vitality to sustain almost all our resources and with the cracked monster set that is Bloodspawn it makes us Tankier spam Ulti’s with is sustain on a DK because of Battle Roar, DK’s are just really good

Yes this build is still viable, very good if you want a true High DoT Pressure build, but if you don’t want to farm Runecarver you could run Way of the Fire it’s really good too

No unfortunately it does not proc off status effect like Burning/Poisoned etc., just off skill DoT’s, or else honestly it’d be pretty broken lol

It’s all personal preference, but I highly recommend a Resto on this build it gives you a way to get a lot of Mag back from a fully charged heavy and gives you major mending, but a sword n board gives you access to decisive but no mag from heavies, all personal preference

No worries, are you 3 heavy with a Heavy Reinforced Chest, do you have your armor passives and DK armor passive, plus do you have defending?

Depends on your playstyle tbh, MagDK has better CC and shreds vamps, while StamDK is very fast and mobile

It’s very good pressure, does Bleed Damage which can proc Hemorrhaging which puts another DoT and puts Minor Mangle reducing their max health by 10%

That’s the beauty of the set “Wretched Vitality” it gives you nearly 400 Mag and Stam Recov when fully proc’d

Honestly imo Imperial 100%, Nord is a strong 2nd, but yes be a Vampire Stage 3, every build should be that for the Undeath passive

Snake in the stars confuses me. It says it profs on target when you lay on a major or minor debuff…does that only refer to rebuffs with major and minor in the name or does that also include status effects and snares/slows/root? And if you use a AoE does it land on a group at the same time or is it only one target and only once per target every 12 seconds…I just don’t know. I know exploiting ball groups don’t like it but I wish there was a build that used Snake in the Stars built specifically for helping to melt exploiting ball groups. You content creators are terrified to use your platforms to tackle the issue of exploiting ball groups. Sure not much can be done until ZOS recognizes and admits that their heal stacking mechanic was never intended to be exploited the way it is. They could use Battle Spirit to control heal stacking but they won’t. Where is your rage? Or are you one of those KZbinrs seduced by the organization skills it takes a group to exploit a game mechanic? Seriously…I wish someone would do a series on builds that melt ball groups or at least harass them back. I will take a 15 vs 100 Zerg defending a keep over a 50 vs 12 that just goes straight to the wall and farms nonstop AP for 30…60…or more minutes. They never want to take a keep….they just want to farm AP and harass other players into logging off. I can dream…but I know KZbinrs representing ESO content never band together.
