You are one of the first I’ve encountered who have covered the under 50 PvP in detail. Thank you! Would love to watch a dedicated under 50 Cyrodiil video when you make one.

@@projectjtl Under-50 PvP in general can be quite fun, yet is a niche that is AFAIK barely covered in ESOTube.

Definitely a good explanation for people newer to mmos. I’m sure though I’m not the only one who remembers “twinking” characters in other games, WoW comes to mind. I think it was WoTLK expansion where wow changed so you get exp from bgs to stop thinking from affecting normal players. Before that you would have a 19 rogue with like 1300 hp with all best in slot gear and crusader/agility enchants etc etc just ripping people apart. It happens in other games too like LoL where people mark a “Smurf” account which is the more recent term for twinking to circumvent the MMR/ELO system. Even in level 50 BGs you can easily have some players on some insane level in relation to the others there. From what I know all toons are in their own ELO brackets not based on your account but your character itself. So say you play a stam sorc and you are matched with players who are around your skill level constantly. Make a new stam sorc and throw that gear on it and watch everything die for a few BGs until the ELO works out where you “belong”

Thank you for all your feedback. Yes unfortunately it probably does plague other MMO’s, and ESO is certainly no different. Having a slight advantage over newer players is nothing major, but unfortunately the advantage it can be magnified very badly. Resulting in newer players, standing. No chance. Hopefully this will be tweaked to make it more fair but still reward veteran players with a slight advantage. No God mode

pretty much on point i usually level skills till 30 then make an a nasty under 50 bg build and just do low lv bgs to cp

Yeah, it’s definitely a solid way to do it once you hit around 30 you will get access to a lot of the skills and can put together something evil

u missed a lot of whats possible. will add a couple. dawnbreaker and fighters can be cheesed to use under 50, gear doesn't need to be gold but must be as close to level as possible( weapons most of all, the power drops fastest) weapons every 2 levels in purple is stronger that using a gold weapon every 10(roughly a gold weapon 2 levels wrong is weaker than a purple weapon of right level. monster sets can be run in u50. up until recently newer monster sets could be remade and used under 50s. this has been fixed( except maybe ic sets that can be farmed at level) near all the monster sets from year 21-mid 23 were able to be remade. gear can be remade under 50, easy and cheap. all u have to do is teach the u50 char the trait and have the collection(some exceptions, mythics, arenas, monsters)so if u had for example rally cry unlocked u could remake it on that dk character( if they knew the traits wanted)super easy too. so lets say an ice staff, a neck and 2 rings a chest of trainee. that could be researched in 12 hours. so many litle tricks used, did u know that if u went looking there are 5 skill books that would give 1 point to every class skill line. 5 points to most skills, weapons, armors. u can have streak on a sorc at level 30( a level 42 skill) or similar. if u are reading this though the most important part is. use gear as close to level as u can. gold gear is not needed, gear as close to level as possible in purple will be super strong.

Thanks for sharing this with me and the community these are some things I missed , I like the imp city monster sets ideas could be very broken in the right hands , I’m sure I mentioned to be close to ur level though and holding weapons would be the most important thing to max I guess

I did that. Crafted it with ancient dragonguard. All in training, it's how I level my new characters

Theres a guy on xbox eu thats constantly doing under 50 bgs. Ive taken breaks from the gane, come back started a new character hes there again. Warewolf is the new thend it seems at the moment

Yeah it is a recurring trend and werewolf have always been strong in no proc or under 50s something to do with the scaling of stats

Super sweats gold out low level gear and leave the match before it’s over, most people like this aren’t very good at above 50 bgs

Exactly, if you gotta gold out an under 50 character to pvp its probably from being tilted getting wrecked in 50 bgs.

What this guy says, players who can’t cut it in over 50. Sad as it puts off a lot of genuine under 50 players learning or new to the game. On a side note you can get monster helm in under 50 you can farm an Imperial city one and buy shoulders from vendor there.
