I've been around both types, and while people with narcissistic TRAITS can hurt you, people with NPD make you question reality and feel literally sick with anxiety. Pile 3 in the past I would say it would be I didn’t feel good enough ....that’s why I kept coming back , but now I believe in myself and my hang up is I want to believe in people(in him) . I feel like my purpose is to prove to the world people can change. (Some won’t) Most people say “people don’t change“ so I guess I want to hold onto the faith of miracles. Not for me , not for union between us , but just for him to evolve and ascend. I had a reading done that said I ascended and he refused to grow and it was as if he was looking up watching me ascend and leave him behind . So it is like I graduated and he got held back . I had no choice but to move on bc I wasn’t aligning with him anymore. It broke my heart to the point that I almost could not enjoy my growth and my accomplishments of finally breaking free from codependency . It was like graduating but your best friend got held back and couldn’t walk the stage with you . It absolutely broke me to leave him behind . I’m still struggling to let go completely. However I will say this . I do believe in soul contracts . I believe we agreed to this before we came here . And for him to agree to my growth and ascension I’m grateful. He triggered a spiritual awakening in me . I think feeling angry or being pissed temporarily is ok but true healing has only started when I became grateful for his part in my lessons in self worth .
