I like the way Mike goes about the business. He's one of the good guys. We are both big Esoteric fans, for good reason. Take your Esoteric to the next level with a master clock generator. With G-02X discontinued, and G1X doesn't make sense for a K-series, it will be interesting to see what replaces it.

Esoteric made a mistake pricing this unit. K-03XD is $15K, and this is only $3K less @$12K. They are selling the K-05XD in Japan at just over $8K equivalent (yen to dollars). Esoteric should have priced it at $8K US. I would have been a customer, but not at $12K. Better to pick up a used K-03XD.

I think it's a "signal" ground...not chasis

It's incorrectly labelled signal ground. Electrically it's a chassis ground. Esoteric is aware of the issue and future production units will be correctly labelled as chassis ground.

Hmmm, it would be interesting to see how this compares to the Luxman D-07X for example or the Esoteric K-03XD.
