At 03:01 , Cyst #6 should be named "Smothering Darkness" and not "Aerial Ace". Everything else remains the same, just a small typo in the text. Sorry about that! I've used the YT editor to remove the text, but it'll take a while for it to process. Additionally, if you can only see one Cyst on the map, go to where the map marker begins (at the entrance to the zone from the previous zone) and there should be two birds. You can interact with them to toggle the alternate Cyst for that location.

for people confused on why they're stuck on 16 motes , threes a glitch with the meatball launching its mote to the moon so bungie has removed it until they fix it. PS: the meatball is one of the blooming area bosses.

Warning for people doing overthrow bosses, you should get the mote from the meatball boss in the blooming first because I killed that boss for my final mote and the game took away all of my motes and did not give me the mote to open the chest. My account is now soft locked on this exotic quest till bungie can patch this bug. For anyone currently stuck on the last step: Koftiks has currently been disabled due to a bug where he'd delete the rest of your motes, should be able to kill him, and therefore finish the quest, in an update soon (hoping tomorrow). Also, if you want to track your boss kills, go into triumphs, the pale heart, world, exploration, and they'll be in there. For me, I had to kill them all the amount of times the triumph stated, so it wasnt just a one and done.

For those stuck on the last mote, this worked for me as of today. I put my motes into the bank, just guessed that I needed the meatball mote like everyone else and on the next blooming overthrow he spawned and drop the final primordial mote. Dont know if the spawn was just luck and same with the final mote dropping but it did work regardless, best of luck out there!

Just got the AR: 1. Don’t do the overthrow with a group, solo it. The boss spawning is based on team members I suppose. Once I started doing solo, I got all the motes. 2. Extremely grindy: get all the region chests: 9 encryptions; when doing micah quests, get the 6 encyptions as well; you will be doing overthrow anyway during micah quests so it should be 6 motes I think. Do overthrow 3 more times, should be 9. Then traveler vision motes. This was a nightmare

I killed all the bosses (aka I have all the associated overthrow boss triumphs completed) and have 16 motes but I’ve been grinding for a couple hours cycling between each area but my final one has yet to drop. I got all the traveler collectibles, all the keys and the legendary khvostov, everything should be fine and just work lol. I swear, this game’s bugs are just the worst sometimes.

Bro holy shit the meatball boss (Koftiks) was bugged so bad for me, but I took a look at Reddit and after 5 (yes, entirely 5) attempts back to back, I got it. Reddit suggestion: put notes in the vault, once you get your 16 and are starting the hellish task of fighting the meatball, put your mites in the vault. After, the bungee suggestion: return to orbit if no more drops. After putting notes in vault and re attempting boss, if nothing drops, go to orbit after immediately opening the chest, then return to the blooming and do it again. The very attempt after doing this, I got my mote. 👍🏾

Mote of light drops from unique bosses, if you have beaten the wizard hive, you need to defeat the other ones. one drop from each 3 bosses in each areas. Wizard Hive, Titan Hive, Hunter Hive, Taken Minotaur, Taken Orge, "Meatball" , Stasis Subjugator, Strand Subjugator, and the Tormentor. You cant defeat the same one to get another mote of light. 8 + 9 = 17; the triumph is not what you want to get for the bosses of the overthrow to complete.

I've seen so many players having troubles with the Pale Heart Khovostov Quest, but for the most part the problem was on the triumph not checking or the Primordial Light Mote not dropping. The thing is that I have the triumphs of opening the 9 chests, finding the 8 travelers, fighting the 9 boses and interacting with the 6 scraps. I also have in my inventory the Primordial Ligt Mote and the Legendary Key, as well as the golden chest in the shrine. The thing is that when interacting with the golden chest it says the same as when I hadn't completed the light motes and the keys, the game didn't register I have them on my inventory and doesn't let me open the chest. Someone has an idea on what to do or how to fix it?

How do you summon each unique final boss on the overthrow? Do I just keep repeating the event and I'll get a different boss? Or it rotates on a timely basis?

Well i did all 9 bosses (got the triumphs) all the chests and all the cysts collectibles and i am stuck at 16 motes.

I already have all the bosses triumphs but im still with 15 motes, and also the meat ball is not spawning and i alteady tried 6 times

you may be missing the mote from another boss, i had 15, had all but meat ball spawning (he's been disabled from the game for now, sad), but i just had to redo one of the bosses the triumph said id done. I got lucky and got it on my first one. Wish we could track them better

Anyone else who cant get the meatball to respawn? I have the triumph for killing all bosses yet I don't remember getting the meatball mote. I have been trying to kill it again but out of 15+ blossom runs i cant get it to spawn.
