@@AzrealJThere isn’t a direct synergy with the 2 that makes them good together. My guess is because Alethonym is an infinite ammo gl you can just spam it into the turrets crystals for lots of shatter. Theoretically you can do the same with fighting lion.

All "movement" conditionals in destiny are based on your speed, not just movement, its meant to stop you from on controller just barely shimmying and being "moving" or from stick drift stopping standstill conditionals As to say you need to accelerate past a certain point and hold that velocity long enough, which is why it feels delayed

Just got the clear on this arduous grind of a strike. The modifier is insult to injury. The cyclops spam at the drill is proof Bungie truly ran out of inspiration and simply wanted to maximise player pain. Resorted to Omni hunter void loadout to get it done. Same old, same old.

Actually standing in the Rime-coat’s storm rift makes it even more powerful, being in there creates more icicles that activate when you fire your weapons and apply slow to targets you fire at. I mention this purely because Eso is staying mobile after placing the turrets is all and hopefully it helps players. 👍🏻

Man this GM is felt like a chore to get through, watching this doesn't make enough justice. The combo vex thing that trap you in place + exploded harpies rushing you in the control section of the drill feel so cheap, my FT got wiped once due to that. Of course I couldn't know that if that was my first try on this revamped strike. And then snipers are every where, from the Psion dudes and the vex on top the high ground, shoot you from a far, to the Cyclops at tank segment and the drill itself. I'm glad they don't add more shit at the boss arena which make thing feel at ease after ton of hassle they have put early on.

@@MitchellTheMitch No what he means is you have to be a conqueror before the node comes out so if you haven't got conqueror yet but say you get it this season (or whatever they call them now) then by next season you will have access to it when the node launches. It is only open to current conquerors though (people who already got title in previous seasons) but I am fairly sure you can play with someone who has conqueror because they have access to any GM they haven't done yet. You can only complete them once though if they are not the weekly GM.

Take away the artifact bonuses, surges, etc, i promise you will take 50 min plus if not longer. Powercrept weapons and season model lol. Had this been Destiny launch make it nearly an hour or two. You’re not gonna make a point rolling in there running double primary in there to show we can’t do this at launch in a timely manner that makes no sense. It doesn't "FEEL" like a downgrade. Almost EVERYTHING about the strike is an improvement over the original. We get it, you prefer GMs to have the complexity of a patrol mission and the ability to skip half the strike by running past it, but don't say it's a downgrade when it clearly isn't.

Soulless and miserable. As many Time-gates as possible, only good thing here is you actually fight the boss now but that health boost could just be a patch note not a rework. They should put the effort into reprising any of the old vex strikes instead, they won't though. Run was great though as expected.

This strike proves Destiny loves artificial difficulty, cause half of everything in the game is abysmal or time-gated / irrelevant in endgame due to sources other than the intended options available which makes guns at are barely usable to suddenly broken. Same as subclasses. They went from taking the classic Halo approach to missions which are significantly better than strikes (Witch queen campaign, lightfall campaign, final shape campaign) to strikes that have a "stand here, use X weapon or you will not pass this encounter. Use this loadout or lose out on over 200% damage this season. GO BACK TO THE ROOTS. The tank section was perfect example. But not enough enemies imo. The game does not need champs to be hard it needs creativity, proved this in final shape.
