Adolphe Sax must have certainly envisioned all of this. The saxophone can replace any instrument, perhaps not the piano and percussion, but there you have it.

Several firsts here, if I'm not mistaken... - First time ESP has used a sopranino - First time their director has played with them as a saxophonist - Most saxophones they've ever had playing at once This is all based on my own recollections of all the videos I've watched, so correct me if I'm wrong!

Maybe the soprano doing the clarinet solo in the 3rd mvt could have not used vibrato to make it sound more clarinet-like? Just a thought, really.
