Hello, thanks for the video. I have a question: does your car run on diesel or gasoline? Also, does your heater run on gasoline or diesel? As a rule, I know they are all diesel heater, so this question interests me very much. And my Ford is a gasoline one. I don’t know how to install an additional tank for a diesel engine under the bottom of a car.

Just about to attack my own espar heater install, transit gasoline. I'm thinking in front of that rear driver's wheel well, running the exhaust out the side. I also purchased the ford gas tank adapter, it comes as a 90 so you just have to step down from it to the much smaller heater fuel line, webasto makes a nice reducing connector for just that. Great video! thanks for posting, Im gearing up for the same install and I am curious how your heater has been working since your install. In particular, Im curious if have you run it much at elevation above 8,000feet? Im asking because I have seen other videos saying the auxilliary fuel port hose inside diameter is larger than the Espar fuel standpipe specification which has caused some users to have issues with intermittent heater flame-out problems. Thanks again for sharing your install.

Nice build and video! It's the first one I've found that didn't install in the seat base. I too plan to install mine towards the back of the van. I understand that the large floor hole is necessary to clear the bottom of the unit and pipe clamps. Particulaly in your case with the unit mounted down in the lower niche. Though I am wondering if would it have been possible drill/cut two smaller individual holes for the intake and exhaust in the floor for intake and exhaust, but raise the mounting plate off the floor with a spacer for clearance between the finished van floor and the bottom of the unit? Thoughts?
