How to Replace the Control Panel on a Hoover Tumble Dryer

My tumble dryer drum got jammed with a shoe - and stopped spinning - The belt had sheered off and I replaced it but still not working - I have also replaced the capacitor with still no joy. If I manually spin the drum the motor does start turning but struggles and then fails again when try to change direction Also there is a humming from the motor area, any suggestions?
