I have the Standing Bear Mr. Scary made by the Man himself. It was by chance that I got it. My Father had passed a few months before, and was deep into our NA herritage. I recieved some inherintance He left me, and was looking for a guitar to remember him with. Seemed like fate once I found it. Also purchased a LP Slash November Burst a while later, and after getting it home discovered the completion date was on the same day my Dad had passed away. Deffinetly a trip. Anyway, glad George decided to add this bad ass design to his ESP collection. Also want to add that George called me after purchasing the guitar, and we spoke for about an hour. Totaly unexpected for someone with his fame to spend that ammount of time talking on several topics to someone he doesn't even know. Felt like I had to cut the convo short. It was surreal.

I am 58 now. I am a loyal fan of George's since Summer of 1984. I saw George a few dozen times with Dokken and on his own. Monster's of Rock in Philly was superb! I always had hoped for another Tony MacAlpine type of thing with say King Edward, Kendall, Demartini and Lynch since they all knew each other and got along from my understanding. Nice dream of mine but I at least saw each of fav 1980s Rock guitarists. Be well George and thank you for so many smiles when I hear or see you play. 😊

Curious about the nut and neck width... 43mm (1-11/16 or R4) nut width but 45mm (1-3/4 or R5) neck width? Maybe to keep strings from rolling off the fretboard? I know George likes the wider 1-3/4 in necks for space between strings, so I'd think he'd want the R5? My 1-3/4 in neck with R5 nut doesn't have any issues with strings staying on the board.
