This and 15 I think of as the end of the prologue. The revelation of the rat is the final piece in what it leads into. Vol 15 finishes that impression if I remember right where its very clear the story has a post event and pre-event feel afterwards. PreRat Rudy... childish and a bit naieve where his focus is on the stuff we knew up until then. No clear conclusion point for the story going forward (to me at least). PostRat Rudy... more serious and less of a joke. His focus is on his family and friends well being after the stunt Hitogami pulled, he is now aware that Mad-eye Moody had the right of it "Constant vigilance". We can now deduce a few possibilities for end point but to avoid spoiling 15+ I won't clarify more. Unlike Overlord; 14 is probably top 3 volumes for the Hitogami plot point alone, also the "false" future presented to Rudy hurt me deeply to read the first time. An actual case of to soon; salt in wound. Seeing Paul alive and having fun with kids was very rough.

End of volume 14 and beginning of 15 is my favorite part of Mushoku Tensei, also after you finish volume 15 I suggest you check some amazing animations that Junu made for that volume

Dude.......right there with you. Maybe not my absolute favorite part, though, it may be, but, reading that part of the story totally reinvigorated my passion for MT. I've commented these words many times before, but, I lost count of how many times I, while binging the whole story AQAP, said "Damn it...I am so lucky to be able to read this right now."

I seriously would've preferred that Old-Rudeus had successfully brought the Book for "God-Rank Detoxification" magic with him. And, Rudeus spending almost an entire night or day to Master the God-Rank Detoxification magic. When he masters the God-Rank Magic, he should feel so tired that he faints & sees Hitogami in his dream. Hitogami threatens to Kill Rudeus's family members. Rudeus tries to fight him in the mental/Souls domain but get thoroughly defeated & tortured. Next day, a new apostle (Bandit leader) of Hitogami attacks Rudeus's family with his Gang. To save his Family, Rudeus kills each & everyone of those Bandits. Hitogami again appears in Rudeus's dream & asks Rudeus that for how long can he protect each of family member? Rudeus asks Hitogami, What does he wants from him? Hitogami tells him to Kill Orsted. As a form of Help, Hitogami teaches Rudeus spells & techniques for different Magic. Hitogami tells Rudeus that God-Rank attack Magic is continental scale version of Emperor-Rank attack Magic. Due to Hitogami's guidance, Rudeus becomes skilled to this level:- (1) God-Rank => Detoxification & Healing (2) Emperor-Rank => Air, Water, Fire & Earth (3) King-Rank => Barrier Under Orsted, Rudeus should become skilled to this level :- (1) God-Rank => Barrier, Divine Strike & Summoning magic (2) Hypnosis Magic (3) Gravity Magic (4) Intermediate-Rank => Water & North-God style (5) Howling Magic Atofe's Cells should activate these abilities for Rudeus:- (1) Touki (2) Laplace's Demon Eyes Lara was born with a pair of "Foresight Eyes" that she can activate by will & hence predict future with more certainity. All of Rudeus's Children must be born with Laplace's Demon-Eyes. Christina-Greyrat must be born with twin pairs of "Clairvoyance" that allows her to eventually see upto 100,000 Km & Laplace's eyes provide her with the required precision.

10:01 What makes a good King... I thought about it a lot too. I didn't seem to arrive at the answer Pergeus wants. To me, a Good King does what he thinks best for his people even if they themselves hated him for it. (An example: Using the Tax money to solve problems in Society before they become Big enough for the people themselves understand why they need fixing.)

I think that chapters are not going to be animated, that's why I'm really looking forward to the analysis on video and also your opinion on this topic too. 🙏🙏🙏 There is a new manga also come out at 15 March 2022 about Eris journey after she left Rudeus which gives more details on that, I didn't read that but what I heard that it's describe every part of her journey because in bonus chapters only cover major parts like when she reach her final destination , and then the next bonus chapter cover after 3 year when she meet new individual, again after 1 year and etc but in the Eris manga cover everything how she learn all different sword technics, also she fights many people after learning each sword style. Please read that manga too before you make Eris journey analysis video. 🙏🙏🙏

As for being Overpowered or not, Future Rudy (Oldeus) is very powerful and can beat a few of the strongest characters we know as o far. You have to define overpowered when talking about him, because Rudy's struggles are not based on Power but on Social Relationships. All characters who can beat Rudeus in a fight at that point are (arguably) overpowered themselves, so have a definition for Overpowered to compare Rudeus to.

​@@Wryvan Yeah, basically. Though I'd argue that main timeline Rudy EoS is definitely much much more powerful than Oldeus was. Heck, his Mk1 should definitely much more advanced than whatever Oldeus and Zanoba were able to create.

Now that you have read LN 14, go and look up "Turning Point 4 in a Nutshell" by PSCaveJack on youtube, you won't be dissapointed! **Spoiler below if you haven't read LN 14 yet** I have no knowldge, but Hitogami's story about what would have happened smelled of BS to me. If nothing else it's highly doubtful someone else would have come along in time to save Roxy, and he clearly want's her dead. I personally think that if he had heeded his warning and not gone, and with Roxy dead, he would have abandoned Rudy there and then and gloated over Rudy's misery

ikr?.... even if roxy fell in love with that adventurer, they wouldn't make a couple because one of them wasn't interested. Rudy still has a chance to meet roxy and they will fall in love, but now roxy will be his fourth wife lmao. If hitogami said roxy died instead, then it would be convincing

After the story of rudeus past i prety much confident to say eris and roxy are great for rudeus but the green girl is totaly useless the autor should not have her as rudy wife in first place a lot of concindence have to hapen to here be a wife the futur rudy story is great too but it the worst futur possible for rudy
