Damn I have so many memories playing this game. The gameplay unfortunately has not held up well. The presentation on the other hand is top notch still to this day.....R.I.P. Stu Scott.

Most definitely, I would say that NBA 2K4 has better gameplay but the soundtrack, modes & overall presentation are great on 2K5.

this the game right here bro. I remember staying in a hotel for a month and playing this game in my hotel room for an afternoon and being amazed by it the physics and graphics I had the xbox version but rented the PS2 version. and I played the absoulute S*** out of it back in 2005.

The XBOX version looked too good, I think that and NFL 2k5 could both be upscaled to 720p.

really glad i saw this, i kept thinking was Stuart Scott in this game as a voiceover. that dude was just the epitome of cool, may he RIP. & also, is it just me, or does Bob Fitzgerald sound a lot like Mike Breen, especially when he says "on hand"?

I woke up to that ESPN message and instantly felt sad, I've been watching him on tv since I was 7. He sorta does sound like Breen at times, I wish they kept Rod Brooks or just used real ESPN commentators instead having him work with Tom Tolbert and Bill Walton.

Derek Turner i know what you mean man. i saw that report from the ESPN app & immediately got myself out of bed, just hoping it was a hoax of some sort. i actually wanna get into sports media, its been a dream of mine for a long while, & Stu is an inspiration on how do the job right, your way, not changing a thing. i actually used to write for a magazine that just "fired" me (i never get paid, hence the quotation marks) by email last Sunday. i was fired because i didn't write in a way which they wanted me to, they wanted me to speak to the tune of this generation, but i write professionally. its lessons like this that let me know that to work with a company, magazine, whoever that will accept me for me & not change me, are those that also don't take you for granted. sorry for the long comment btw

Go for it. That's why I always enjoyed Stuart Scott he came onto the show just being himself and it definitely rubbed off on Rich Eisen. Guys like him, Dan Patrick & Kenny Mayne are the sole reason I love to watch SC. You should pursue your dream 100%.
