Dean Georgia need just focus on their team not taking other teams for granted, it's a hard schedule and hopefully they don't have to many injuries because the game is played on field not on paper meaning every man got to do their part.

This feels like 2 years ago when Alabama was an overwhelming preseason number 1 and I had no idea why. On paper they weren't as good as the 2021 team and it proved to be true. Do Georgia fans feel this team has as good a roster as last year? I don't believe so. Only time will tell but the loss of Bowers seems to be very underplayed. His presence opened up so many things for that offense. Caused major matchup issues that made a lot of those other guys look a bit better than they are on the outside. Saving grace may be the experience on the offensive line. That first games going to tougher than you think. They have the secondary to match up with Uga's Wr group. Also think the defense takes a step back. Basically like Alabama in 2022 way more question marks than are being let on.

@ATLLibra-1 Not talking trash. Georgia's going to be 1 of the very best teams in the country. I just don't see them being as good as last year's team from a literal roster standpoint. Also think this is probably the hardest schedule they've faced in quite some time. Just feel like the preseason talk would align more with the 21/22/23 seasons. I knew in 21 before the season they should be the favorites,it lined up that way. 22 I thought to myself why is Alabama ranked ahead of Georgia preseason? I mean outside of qb do you feel Uga's roster is better than Osu's? Do you think Georgia is better than last year? Feels like Georgia is more a default number 1 this year.

@@timothyfrederick9591 I do feel like this team is better than last year, particularly on the defensive side as there will be more multi year staters. We have a tough schedule, but we are a tough team and due to the expanded CFP playoff we don’t have to go undefeated. OSU is very talented, but they have been for the last several years. They don’t have a roster problem, they have a Ryan Day problem. He doesn’t exactly exude confidence or toughness in my opinion. I cannot wait for the season to start as UGA lets their play say it all!

Does the preseason poll really matter ? Each team across country lost “ key” players that contributed to these teams ti be where they are or were throughout season last year! Bama is different on many levels beginning with HC who was the leader of that team and when he spoke the CFP listened ! They lucked out with win over Dawgs in SEac championship! Guessing Saban out coached the student to pull out win but at what cost ?Georgia had injuries and internal distractions ( Kirby does not have control of his players ) and talent has moved on !Texas and OU coming into SEC will be bigger factor than everyone thinks! Georgia needs to really look at season eyes wide open , not their obnoxious mouths and bark (woof woof)! 🐶 Bama will ride the Saban cologne that lingers in locker room but new HC will not handle pressure well! The schedule is easy for some but others got pounded on with heavy hitters in their schedule . Injuries will be biggest foe for all teams and depth ! So who cares what BW says ! I know Georgia will hate hearing Saban dissecting them each week on GDay ! This guy rambles on with no rhyme or reason ! Ughhhh!

Bama has had a great run, no doubt. Refs definitely helped Bama defeat GA both the 2017 Natty and last year SEC Championship game. But it is what it is. I think GA will beat Bama easily this year. In fact, I don't think Bama will make the 12-team payoff this year. I think they will lose to GA, LSU, Tennessee, and either Oklahoma, Auburn, or Missouri.
