There’s just no comparison, particularly when you consider that two of Day’s top five “losses” were in games UM cheated, as well as a blown targeting call on Harrison that cost them the Georgia semifinal a couple years ago. One of those teams is Indiana. And the other two are Big Ten teams. The Big Ten sets their schedule. That's just the way it goes. Look at Miami's then compared that to Florida. Miami won't have played anyone either and Florida will have played 6 top 25 teams. They crushed Nebraska who hadn't given up a rushing TD all year. Indiana had 5. And they haven't given up another one since. And they held MSU to -36 rushing yards. But you're right, the OSU game is going to be their first real test.

The o-line's performance, alone, was a masterpiece of adapt, preparation, and good 'ole fashioned belief. Had it not been for Howard being......well....Howard, it would've been Ohio State's best game in YEARS. They were prepared, inspired, physical for 60full min. The only issue I saw, and it's a big one, is Howard's inability to play an error-free game. And, it's not like he makes a LOT of errors...but, the one's Howard makes are HORRIBLE, borderline in explicative, and at the WORST possible time. So, as happy as I am for the team as a whole, Howard needs to unf--k whatever is going on in his head, seemingly week after week. That can't be the best we get from him, given his NIL contract is as offensive as anyone else on that team. When I hear $20million, I expect to see the kind of dominance, and discipline that Oregon is showing week after week. So, I'm VERY happy we won, given the context and o-line....but, this team has a LOOOOONNNNNG way to go to even THINK about contending for a nattie.

Oregon needed home field (several penalties caused), every call except the first one to go their way, a miracle play (onside kick that you get maybe twice in a hundred), the "bending" of the rules/game sportsmanship that was so egregious the NCAA changed the rule right after the game, the OPI that was the game deciding call that the Big 1G conference admitted was wrong and still won by 1 point. They literally needed every bit of of all those advantages to hold on by 1 point, by 1 second. That game on a neutral field that night was a two score win by OSU. So excuse everyone else in the country for being able to see that, except Oregon fans. That's why most people consider OSU better. Personally, unless I see this new patch work offensive line continue to improve over the next month, I'm on the fence as to which team is better, but I felt after the game in Eugene that OSU was clearly better.....as did most everyone else in the country which is what pisses Oregon fans off.
