You're doing fine. Don't rush it. In 2 years when you are at 50K subs things will be so dire for Google as a company they may not even continue to subsidize KZbin. Then the ad revenue for content creators dries up. You should be enjoying your chance to offer your opinions here and now before you have to go out and get an actual job. Luckily you're young and you'll adjust I'm sure. You don't actually have to get your shit together until your like 38. Enjoy it while it lasts!!

@BehindTheWall58 we need Andy Kotelnicki to get us in 12 personnel and under center more often. I was hoping for a Shannahan type offense out of him without perimeter strength. Outside of an elite WR how do we salvage this offense against good defenses

Just noticed that on 3rd and goal the TD was there for Allen: if he bounces it to the outside with Ioane leading the way he's in, but instead he made a small cut to the right middle of the line and went nowhere. Should have had Singleton in for that attempt. Anyway, great stuff as always Landon, love your content. Hope we do bounce back b/c season's not over yet. We are!

When will Franklin learn that if you don't have at least one elite receiver, and an Offensive line that can run block when it counts, you can't beat teams like Ohio State. The wide receivers sucked. HARD! And the O Line played like trash. So sick of the SOS every year.

I love PSU football and as a gentleman in his mid 70's I've been bleeding blue and white for many years. I come to you for excellence in presentations, but also for sanity after a hard loss. Enough with the bashing and more analysis! After a loss many PSU'ers simply lose their minds and want to burn everything down in their anger. The "fire Franklin" mantras filled the airways Sunday morning. I get it, but one of my mentors many years ago after watching my bad behavior after a loss said, "Enjoy it, but it's not that important." He's right. Even after winning a Natty the Michigan folks still are unhappy this year. Fire Franklin if you want, but just make sure we don't turn into Nebraska that after being unhappy with a decent coach is now on a generational program decline. Or USC which bet everything on a hot shot wonder and now can't find itself.

Would love to watch the film on this one. Prior to the game I said, zone stretch runs to the perimeter, screens, jet motion, pin and pulls, misdirection would all help create inside run lanes...didn't see much of that... I knew before the game Knowles was going to stack the box and man up on our WRs... just really curious how we didn't adjust outside of giving Warren handoffs. Would love to hear your thoughts...hard to see from game angles

This game was hard to stomach. The loudest I’ve ever heard beaver stadium was during that pick 6. And I thought a ten point lead was awesome. It wasn’t enough sadly.

There were lots of things I didn’t understand Saturday. 1. Single high or Tampa 2, we knew Ohio State had sticky man defense that looked for the hook-curl with a safety in the box. Why no throw the intermediate tight end seam or hit Clifford on an out-to-boundary. Stretch the field with leverage if you can’t win a fight for the ball on the short quick routes. 2. Ohio State went max protect/ chips and we kept blitzing ourselves out of contain. 3. Defense had some missed tackles and blown coverage. However, Ohio State did have some sick plays. That sail route across the formation with Kimber bailing for the first touchdown. Also, the second touchdown with the receiver leaking late that got Tracy bouncing off Rojas. 4. Ohio State has 14 five-star players. The rest of the Big Ten has 15. They lost two left tackles, so they slid over five-star Donavan Jackson and his seven foot wingspan. There is a talent gap. The receivers will struggle. The defense will get gashed. However, we still came with three yards of getting that touchdown.

You left out O-LINE-- All that matters; forget everything else. A dominating O-LINE solves everything. I don't know why Penn State doesn't recruit/coach-up Offensive Linemen like they did in the `80s & 90s, when they dominated teams like Ohio State. A dominating O-LINE is the difference between 12-0 & 10-2.

@@bklynusa2213 I'm still trying to figure that out. We're getting no push but recruiting highly ranked linemen. Great measurables. Their high school film looks good. Minor dings here and there as they acclimate to the college level. Play call, I'm curious what Landon and T- Frank think about running that bunch formation right to draw some defenders off the middle. Flowing wide off an RPO. Or do we need a new jumbo package for short yardage?

Landon, I think u were about to say that we should take a page from Harbaugh’s book and put everything into the O line. I agree. We really don’t have an alpha wide receiver on the horizon so let’s go old school. Running game first, fullback, 2 TE’s, 6 lineman sometimes. Worked for Mich in ‘22 and ‘23.

I’d say the offense LOOKED and IS better than last few years! For sure. Only thing missing is our red zone offense! Like we need more red zone run game and just better play calls at end zone. Can’t have Warren be the only ‘viable’ route for a 4th and goal game on the line type of playcall

How does any coach at the D1 level ignore the super critical WR & LB rooms? An aggressive portal strategy is the only way to keep this program from slipping to #6 or #7 in the Big10.

Yep. Franklin needs to hire someone who can address issues via the portal. HUGE miss this past year in the portal and his recruiting classes aren't WOWing anybody either. I imagine the only person on planet errrrph who doesn't see what PSU's immediate needs are is Franklin himself.

I would make Beau QB 1 for the next 4 games to prevent an upset to Wash or Minn. Also generates rhythm over several games to develop in Kotelnicki’s comfort zone. We cannot use Drew’s primary talent with the current WR core. I know this is controversial but in the current NIL and transfer portal world of college football it just has to happen. And if its not working out .. well Drew is right there to come in.

Bingo! T, Frank explains purrrrrfectly why the Kotlenicki offense isn't optimized with Allar at 20:25. The Kansas offense should be run by Pribula....not Drew. Once again Franklin's bromance with a QB has the PSU offense trying to fit square pegs into round holes. Maybe next year PSU fans....if Kotlenicki doesn't get lured away...and I won't be sooprised if he is. If PSU was smart they'd give him Franklin's contract. That way at least several $mil wouldn't be #Wasted each year.

Penn State’s offense only scored 6 points. They’re extremely lucky for a few Will Howard mistakes, including that touchback at the 1 yard line, or Penn State would’ve been blown out.

Ohio State played with a lot heart & emotion in this game. Penn State is a good team, and could have won this game getting a 14 point swing on Will Howard's 2 turnovers. But Ohio State has more over all talent than Penn State.

With the game on the line, 3 runs from the 3 yard line got 2 yards. Ohio State runs the ball 11 straight times to run out the clock. That’s football, the better team won. Ohio St is more physical and has far better playmakers. Penn State is on a par with about 4 or 5 teams just below the top 3.

If the team fails it has to fail with the best productive players not having the success then the Boos may stop in a loss. In every OSU loss and I've been to all of them the best players are not seeing the ball in the crunch.

Im a Fire Franklin crowd. And it has less to do with the Big Losses as much as. He runs an undisciplined team that just tries to out talent everyone. And for years he talks and says they will learn and get better. Can you honestly say they are better?? They have flatlined. Its not even a new way to lose. The sooner he is gone the sooner we can rebuild and search for the right coach.

That dude is not only really athletic, but he's built like a linebacker - the Mike type. Beau has gotten a lot out of his ability, and will going forward, but he doesn't have any physical attributes that mirror Hill's.

The talent gap was evident. With the NIL situation and State College lacking the young person dream destination I don’t see how we ever put a complete team together like Oregon or Ohio State. I see us being a top tier program always subservient to those teams that can offer a hell of a lot more. 5 miles out of state college is a wasteland. The mentality of the area is at a different level…just ask Jason Kelce. If I were a 5 star recruit coming out of Florida or California what would I be excited about in Centre County? It doesn’t matter who the coach is. U can’t overcome the landscape
