He's obviously going through depression. He pushed himself thru the Olympics and the injuries are taking a toll with age. Hes just hiding his lack of interest and probably trying not to give up. Hope he gets well.

NBA contracts should be based on playing. You play you get all your contract. You don't play you don't get paid. It should allow for 1 season ending injury every 5 years with pay and after that nothing.

Hey NBA here's an idea. You play and win you get 100% of your pay. You play and lose you get 50% of your pay. You don't play cause you're injured you get 10% of your pay (sick pay). You don't play cause you're resting you get 0% of your pay. There I fixed your league. You don't like it. Go somewhere else. You'll see guys playing and best competition since the 80s and 90s.
