Under Bud you could argue the Bucks should’ve have went to the finals at least 3 times with that roster. They lost twice to a worse roster in Miami twice, and a worse roster in Toronto in which the Bucks led 2-0 only to lose 4 in a row. Under Bud they lost twice as the number 1 seed, and lost to a 10th seed Miami as the 3rd seed. Dunno, the championship was awesome but losing to lower seed 3 times, two as the #1 seed is problematic. I blame this mostly on Giannis. Bucks need to stop listening to his demands. They are in this hole now because of Giannis' poor foresight. They could have gotten Nick Nurse who really preaches defense, but instead hired Adrian Griffin upon Giannis' request. That turned bad quickly, and then the Bucks had to acquiesce to Giannis' demands to fire Griffin, so then they ended up getting the worst possible available coach in Cry Me A Rivers. Rivers is the worst coach to hire for a team with high championship expectations. Phil Jackson said it best, Doc knows how to choke away leads. Stop listening to star players' demands. As a Nuggets fan, It wouldn't surprise me if this happens in Denver as well.

I hate that press conference cause yes… it literally should be considered failure if you don’t win a championship.

Agreed, especially given the expectations of that 2023 Bucks squad. They weren't supposed to lose to the #8th seeded Heat team. That speech was a complete deflection by Giannis. It was cringey and very pathetic. That season was a total failure for a team that was expected to get to the Finals. Not to lose to the measly Heat led by Jimmy Butler. They won 58 games that year and Giannis has the audacity to come up with some bs sympathetic "I'm not a failure" speech. Save me that croc.

Owners panicked and made a bad bad trade for Dame. Then having them 2 mega stars they panicked again and fired a coach for a vet coach who didn't care to be there but checks make u rethink a lot. The owners won the big one and they have no idea what to do now.

Giannis cant blame the Bucks for this shitshow, they did everything even trade for a superstar like Damian Lillard to appease him

They said Doc the only coach in history to be regarded as an elite coach for only carrying one team to one championship. 😂

Doc won ONE championship around a pre-existing "Big3", that's ALL he's ever done. Doc Rivers is the John Gruden of the NBA, minus the scandal - As with football, the game is a physical battle. In the NFL, it's OLine>QB>Defense first. In the NBA, it requires a 5man team of DEFENSE MINDED, pass friendly players who can swap 1-2 players out for role-player shooters. SMOTHER your opponent, keep the game close while you wear them down and then bring in your scorers.

Let’s be honest no coach is improving dames slump from 3. He has not been the same from 3 since he swapped jerseys.
