why bc he fed the ball to his best player who turned the ball over twice in last two transitions or that he got rebounded over on last free throw, flag not only was the reason why they had a dhance to win but he also lost them the game
@mohammedsheriff8964Ай бұрын
bro the last 6 minutes of that game their offense was completely stagnant and on top of that he has way too much faith in Caleb foster whose just not that good
@indigomarine91Ай бұрын
You can't win with a bunch of freshmen anymore, there will always be a more experienced day team come along and knock em out. Everyone's good nowadays. Duke, just better hope that they have as good as transition from all freshman to the new age style.

hopefully they won't have shot clock violations like dribble dribble cakapari...they know what it's about... winning not me me me

Duke had them well scouted and had the size and length to cause problems. This game was REALLY good experience in finding a way when the opponent shuts down your preferences.

Flagg is shooting 44% from the floor and an abysmal 25% from behind the line. He makes more than his share of mistakes and has blinders on when wide open team mates are begging for the ball. He isn't terrible but someone at ESPN has fallen in love with him so get used to having him plastered all over their site. In short time his team mates will start to resent him.

@@Syrin23 just more ignorance from kentucky fans. they also didnt see that kentucky only won this game due to duke's center getting hurt and leaving the game, when he went out it changed the game, kentucky was able to go inside and score and get back in the game with khaman out.

@@archangelmusic13 More coping from a loser Duke fan. Explain how your "hurt" player made Kneuppel go 5-20 and 1-8. Should I sit here and wait? How about our eight blocks? Ten made threes? Your player would have blocked at least 8 of those threes right? How about the fact our BEST player went 0-4 and we STILL beat you? Duke coping is so hilarious. And I thought you had the best players in the country and were the deepest team in the nation! One guy down and you lose? Which is it?

People were sleeping on Kentucky this year and Mark Pope just proved why he was the correct hire. And this is just the tip of the iceberg for Kentucky they're going to get a lot better as the season goes on. And props to Duke as well very talented team I expect to see both in late March.
@carsonc29Ай бұрын
to be fair, people had reason to doubt UK..Pope hasnt exactly been tearing up college bball at his previous jobs and the UK roster was practically brand new..the fact that they were even ranked to start the season should have made ya'' feel proud
@ethanledford6181Ай бұрын
@carsonc29 WOW! Just a casual basketball fan at best I can see. First off Mark Pope did a pretty good job at BYU he had a winning record every year he was there, he's a great Xs and Os coach and he ran one of the best offenses in the country and sure maybe he didn't have a tournament win while at BYU but he was only there for 5yrs and any coach that has had success with a small program it's always took years to establish them and make them a power program a lot longer than 5yrs I mean look how long it took Mark Few to make Gonzaga a consistent winning power program. And BYU moved to the big 12 a bigger and stronger conference add that to already having a disadvantage in recruiting and resources when compared to teams like Kansas and Texas in that conference I would say Pope did a really good job. Now we'll move on to Kentucky I will admit that people had a right to have their doubts I even had some myself as well. But we have to keep in mind that Pope is a former player that knows the fan base and school and knows what to expect and knows what has to be done. But outside of that once I saw that Pope brought in the best transfer portal class in the country I immediately knew that we would have a chance. I will admit that I wasn't expecting to be in the top 10 but to say we should feel good to just be ranked #23 in rankings to start the year tells me that you had no idea how good these players were that came through the transfer portal. Everyone of these players have either been winners or performed really well at their previous school and add that with Mark Popes offense I knew we would be ok. I mean many of these players were defensive players of the year in the conferences with their previous schools. And Kobe Brea is the best 3 point shooter in the country and as I stated earlier the other players all have had success or individual success at some point with other schools and Mark Pope brought them all together here at Kentucky through the transfer portal. I would take this kind of transfer portal class over a #1 recruiting class of highschool players every time. I mean like I said I didn't expect a top 10 ranking or anything but to say we're lucky to even be ranked in the top 25 period is crazy and tells me that you don't know the power of a program like Kentucky and you obviously didn't know much about the players that were brought in. But that's ok because now we get to show you and everyone else why Kentucky is the greatest program in college basketball history

eh, its the 3rd game of the season..I get why UK fans love Pope..former player, state native ect...but to claim they are a NC threat at this point, or especially before the season is very foolish....Pope hasnt even won a single NCAA game yet and you think hes gonna go from 0 to 6 in year 1..come on homer, come back to reality
@Syrin23Ай бұрын
@@carsonc29 Foolish is what your statement is. They beat a top five team with the top pick of the draft after being down by ten and our best player going 0-4. Previous NCAA wins or losses are absolutely irrelevant and just a hater straw man argument. And sorry to break your bubble, but people have already picked their NC contenders, so you can go chastise them as well. Let me guess, you think Cal is a lock for the FF because he has won before.
