Datsyuk dangles like the greatest angler and goalies take the bait every time. He is the GOAT in creativity forget Gretzky. Believe me we know how blessed we were to enjoy this brilliance. ❤From Detroit
@derfman179211 күн бұрын
"Forget Gretzky" is such a dumb thing to say when giving props to Datsyuk. It's clear you're a child who hasn't learned that you can't compare what Richard and Howe did in the 40's and 50's to what Orr and Lafleur did in the 60's and 70's, to what Gretzky and Lemieux did in the 80's and 90's, to what Datsyuk Crosby and Ovi did in the 2000's-2010's, and to what McDavid's been doing the last 5 - 6 years. And if you want to talk about creativity... Nobody since Gretzky has been able to consistently make passes off the side of the net to someone in the slot resulting into goals. Not even Lemieux, Jagr, Crosby, Datsyuk, or McDavid has done this. So, calm your prepubescent tits down and learn to appreciate greatness, regardless of the era... You'll be a better hockey fan for it.

I honestly loved watching Datsyuk and didn't miss a game. When he paid respect to Federov and the inspiration he got I knew he was a gem. Federov was an honest heart trophy winner and deserved every bit of it. Datsyuk reminds me of Federov and is almost as good.
@icedo10135 ай бұрын
I was at the game against Calgary where he assisted on Zetterberg's game tying goal with 3 seconds to play. Lidstrom ended up getting wide open in the slot and buried a backhander around a swimming Kiprusoff to win that game 5-4 in OT. To this day it's my favorite game I've ever attended, and that includes some playoff games as well. Thank you for including that one in this highlight reel.
