Elite QBs elevate their team, Dak is a detriment to his team. Full stop. He's immobile, he throws picks that are completely his fault, and he can't step up when the lights get bright (save Pittsburgh this season but the game shouldn't have been close due to his red zone turnovers). It's a chicken egg situation. He can't pass if he doesn't have a run game, or the run game is bad so he can't pass. What about he throws so well that he unlocks Rico or Elliot? Why does the run game have to be there first so he can do his job? Why does he have to be surrounded by elite talent instead of him unlocking mediocre receivers to greatness. The RBs certainly aren't paid to elevate the team. He is. Dak is a bad QB that Dallas is stuck with and that's an immutable fact.

Dak isn’t some rookie a GM has to build around. He’s a veteran who’s gotten two fat contracts. Until recently, Dak had one of the best O-lines in the league and at least one star receiver (Dez, Ceedee, or Cooper) with Jason Witten at TE before he retired. Zeke was with Dak in his prime before all that Cabo weight. All those excuses for Prescott. He’s a 4th round talent getting paid elite money and has to live or die by those expectations.
