the clippers record without Kawi this year was .500(7-7). Ty Lue knows exactly what to expect, that he doesn't have enough scoring and that the transition defense and defensive rebounding is poor. They lost to every playoff team they played without kawi. SO yes when your #1 player is out y7ou will lose a 7 game series against a healthy playoff opponent. Ask the Bucks or the Pels how that works out.

I’ve said since his Houston days, James Harden is not a good basketball player. When you look at a regular scoring average, he’ll (like some others) will have occasional great games, especially against bad teams, but in the playoffs, crucial games, he’s not where to be found. They were better off before the trade. They had better role players, and Westbrook wasn’t asked to score.
