Of course the knicks would be the easier team. They are NOT HEALTHY. Playing against 6-7 players who are playing hard while hurt would be easier than playing the healthier pacers who utilize most of their bench. (Led the league in bench points btw)

Boston has already played 2 depleted teams to get to the ECF. If they play a depleted knicks team in the ECF it'll single handedly be their easiest road to the finals... If they lose in the finals they need to go ahead and blow up that core roster..

that narrative is old and stale. at home in 2024: 2-1 vs Cavs, 2-1 vs Heat; 4-2 - away: 4-0. both losses were really fluky: Heat broken a franchise record shooting 3s, while Cavs shot 10% above their playoff shooting average / 20 points more ... for one game. then everything went back to normal.

All this Celtics hate man… you cry when a good team steamrolls their competition and get mad when they beat the socks off everyone and don’t need to be in a dog fight every series. They’re just that good! Is it so hard to believe that they’ve been slowly rebuilding since 2013-14?? Tatum doesn’t have to be a superstar and score 40-50 every playoff game. Who does that? He doesn’t need to carry his team. He has another All NBA player next to him and 2 elite defensive players next Jaylen Brown in Derrick White and Jrue Holiday. Not to mention a 7foot freak in KP and old man Al that’s been in 177 playoff games that knows how to clamp down on the other teams star. Why is everyone so surprised they’re back? What do they need to do? Win a championship? Or is that not good enough either?
