Plus he won his super bantamweight title defended it five times and TKO’d Ledwaba as a last minute replacement, who was regarded as one of the best in the division at the time so it’s safe to say he wasn’t ducking smaller competition when he did that against bigger guys.

Terry Moore just cuz you lost to a guy doesnt mean he’s the better overall fighter. I personally thought Pacquiao lost all his fights to Marquez but it doesnt mean shit as far as rankings go. Sometimes, a fighter just got your number and Mayweather was the best at avoiding those guys. Put out Pac’s whole resume next to Mayweather’s, Pac has the better list. Simply because he beat more hall of famers and is still going. HOWEVER. When its all said and done, I think Mayweather has always been the superior fighter. He just didnt fight enough to prove it. Sam Langford and Leo Houck fought in EVERY division that existed at the time. ( Flyweight to heavy) Harry Greb went from welter to heavy. Mickey Walker did the same. Henry Armstrong held the featherweight, lightweight AND welterweight ( undisputed) Championships at the same time AND fought a draw for the middleweight title. He also defended each of those belts. I love Manny as much as the next guy but he really isn't in the conversation. He had an amazing career. That will have to be enough.

@Midnightrambler3760 Bruh when Pac was 16 he turned pro was 97lbs, that's not even minimumweight. He won his first title (and lineal) at 112lbs when he was 18, Mayweather at 130lbs when he was 21. He really couldve won from 105 to 154, that would've been like 13 divisions.

Seems like a lot of people don’t understand pound for pound. It means taking the same type of skills to different divisions and if you can maintain the same type of championship pedigree. Yes of course manny is pound for pound. TBE. Only other one that comes close is Roy Jones. But here’s the thing! Most boxers that are called pound for pound only fight in maybe 4 weight divisions, which is good, but manny did it in 8, he literally did pound for pound!!!!!!!!!! And won
