I've been a fan of college football for the last 35 years and in my personal opinion Boise State deserved to be there they've been a quality team the last 20 years easily if you watch the sport the only problem is they're not a big box brand name and that's the problem with Division 1 college football is there too busy worrying about who is going to sell more tickets instead of letting people just play the game

Played OSU at home with the best home field advantage in college football got what 3 or 4 turnovers and only won by 1 still because the ref screwed up the timeout with 1-2 seconds left. OSU at their best is better and we will see today

Penn State by quoting the announcers "doesn't look that good" -- Boise State had their chances and put up more numbers across the board. 3 trips to the red zone with ZERO points, Boise had 13 points not on the board, 2 missed chip shot field goals -- a TD called back... PS couldn't move the ball and were sacked time and time again... PS QB is overrated --- in the end the refs were actually terrible on both sides, Penn state came out early then faded away -- while Boise continued to move the ball and make plays.. the score doesn't reflect how close the game was... really down to a few plays that could have gone either way... if BOISE had a decent QB, they game wouldn't have been close... when PS stacks 9 guys within 5 yards of the ball to stop the incredible Jeanty.. hard to get many rushing yards...

Did you watch the PSU/Boise or some other game? PSU QB was spot on with almost every throw. The only "weakness" I saw with PSU was offensive play calling. All they had to do is commit to the run because Boise wasn't going to stop it. PSU Defense played excellent even without top DE Carter.
