21ChocolateMonkey Pat Condell hates him and thinks Dikembe is doing ``stealth jihad`` . Who knew right?

Man... Dikembe is a man who's kindness comes from his experience w/ suffering and pain. There's a great quote by Robin Williams that goes: "The kindest are those who have gone thru the worst and never wants that to happen to anyone else." I think empathy is one of the most beautiful emotions a person can have and Mutombo is filled with it.

when i was a season ticket holder for the rockets...i (and a few others) had the opportunity to stand on the court with the players during introductions. the ONLY player who shook our hands and thanked us for being ticket holders was Dikembe. i wanted to shake van gundy's hand and maybe a few others...but no one acknowledged us. Dikembe...class act

i was a season ticket holder once for the rockets. one time, they let some of us on the court during player introductions. the "high-five" line or something. mutombo was the only player who came and shook our hands and thanked us for being ticket holders. not the other players or coaches....just him. class act

MidNiteBlazer There was a goaltend. Defensive Goaltending was established in 1945. Bill Russell entered the NBA in 1956 and Wilt Chamberlain in 1960. And if you don't know how much they would've averaged then you should say Mutombo is the greatest shotblocker since they started keeping track of them. And I see no reason why you wouldn't know how many blocks Mark Eaton had.

@turtleislandlac14905 жыл бұрын
@@Blodia1990 Naw he's probably 55 or 56 today. He looks early 50s in this video which was four years ago so he's probably 56 today. I remember seeing him as a rookie back in 1991-92 thinking he looked 28 or 29. Do the math and that's his age. If you really think he's that old that would mean he was in his mid 30s at Georgetown, he did not look that old. Maybe 26-27 tops if you look at his old college pics.
