Wrong. Elis '07 run was better because they beat a better wildcard opponent, the #1 and #2 seed on the road in the NFC and then, oh by the way, stopped the greatest offense in NFL history to that point and ended perfection. Also had a top 3 iconic play in Superbowl history with the escape/helmet catch. If you dont have that as one of the great runs ever you are either an Eli hater or a Brady nut-hugger.

@@lorenzobrooks6428 Agreed, but you could attribute this entire post season run by the Bucs to their defense. Tom Brady didn't hold the Chiefs to three field goals. In fact, you could attribute half of the Patriots wins to the defense as well - Tom Brady didn't intercept the Russell Wilson pass. I'm a big Brady fan, love what he did with Tampa Bay this year, but I do think it's a valid argument that the Giants beat the best team the Patriots ever fielded, and which had gone undefeated to that point.

@@vgpest9238 Eli Mannig actually didnt play Brees. He played Matt Ryan. But regardless, Eli was monstrous that season. He broke the record for most passing yards in a single postseaon. Also played as good as you can against a savage 49ers defense, annihilated the 15-1 Packers and also beat Brady for the second time in a SB on a 4th quarter comeback. @@stain_0697 exactly, eli's run was tough but its just not as impressive as a 43 year old on the worst team in all professional sports winning in his first year there

If the chiefs offense was functional and Brady won a shootout id give him the edge. In the super bowl brady didnt have to be great just run on auto pilot and cruise to his win.

the funny thing is the 7-9 team back up QB Heinicke put up the best fight of the 4 QBs Brady beat, if not for the 3 pick second half where the Packers made a game of it Brady and the Bucs dominated Brees Rodgers and Mahomes

Lol Eli playoff run wasn’t that impressive if he was putting up 30 points a game like flacco was then yes but he only had to put up 20 points and that defense took care of the rest his playoff runs weren’t more impressive than A lot of QBs

I think Spears deserves his own show on ESPN, he's not fake at all and his facial expressions are priceless. Also, the guy really knows what he's talking about, and he's objective as a sports commentator as far as I've ever seen him, which lets face it, is pretty rare on ESPN these days.

Max is right. Eli Manning and the Giants postseason run in 2008 was much more impressive. Buccaneers away, then the cowboys away, Packers with Brett Favre in freezing weather, and finally the 18-0 Patriots
