As an Eagles fan I'm so tired of the "No points in the first quarter argument". Is it really about first quarter or is it first possession? Because they have now scored on their first possession, it just wasn't in the first quarter because the Bengals took 10 minutes on their first drive

Sure but last week was the only time they’ve scored on their first possession and it still was only a field goal. Still noteworthy of the show to discuss because they’ve been struggling with getting going early. I think they will finally do it against Jacksonville but if they can’t it will continue to be one of their biggest issues as the season goes on against better opponents

It's definitely being overblown. Teams dont win games in the first quarter and opening drives are generally one of the biggest misleading portions of a game. You'll see time and time again teams go down and score on their first drive carving up the team like sliced bread and thinking "we about to have a big game", only to then just get shut down the remainder of the game and look nothing like that opening drive

Play action only works when the threat of a run from the back is real. With Saquon, it’s a real threat. So the defense has to play for either a run or pass. With the 2023 Eagles, it was either a pass or Jalen Hurts run. So play the pass and have your lineman watch for the QB run, and that’s how that got shutdown.

they are 3-4 in the midst of a gauntlet schedule run of falcons, eagles, texans (which has gotten easier thanks to the injury). all three of those teams like to run the ball and are very good at it, something that dallas has struggled to stop virtually all season. they are in deep trouble especially as washington and philly keep winning. also being 3-4 in the NFC this year is kinda like being 1-6 most other years. the 7th seed in the NFC is 5-2. It is going to be very hard for teams to sneak into the wildcard you are looking at the last wildcard spot potentially being 11-5 or even 12-4. Dallas would have to near play perfect football from here on to make it in or hope the teams ahead of them in the NFC East collapse.

12:22 what is Adam yapping about? Josh Allen’s wrs were Khalil Shakir and a rookie Keon Coleman. Terry McLaurin is way better than both of them, and he’s honestly better than Amari at this point in his career. B Rob has always been a really good running back but last year was weird for him since he was coming back from being shot in the offseason. And Zach Ertz is a former Super Bowl winning, Pro Bowl caliber TE that is a very reliable target and has been for his whole career (I would know I was blessed to have him on my team for most of it). The Commanders are overperforming based off of preseason expectations sure but let’s not act like he has a bunch of scrubs especially if we are going to act like Josh Allen has had this plethora of weapons to choose from. Adam may need to just stick to reporting stories man this is one of the worst takes I’ve heard in awhile.
