I love how when he watched film, he pointed out the nuances like what it looks like on film when receivers in the NFL "is open as they're going to get" and how some of these young QBs aren't able to pull the trigger. Obviously, it isn't directed criticism, but it helps viewers get a visual understanding of the difference between the pros and college game.

Maye isn't THAT much better than Nix; you could even argue that Nix will make a better pro. Therefore, trading back and adding capital to then build around this QB would've been a no-brainer for an old timer like Bill.
