I’m from Austin, giant Spurs fan, and I’ve met lots of international Spurs fans online. Particularly French and Argentinians because of Tony Parker and Manu. I love it personally, I’m happy that since we have the smaller Central Texas market we also get some international pull. I think the Spurs will be a great fit. He will have Pop to coach him up and help him develop and he will have Tim Duncan, Manu Ginobli, and Tony Parker to help mentor him. He’s gonna have the whole fanbase’s love and support too.

San Antonio and Dallas, always scouting international. Same thing with bucks and nuggets. It is not a secret the European players are getting more exposure now. I just hope the NBA analysts will do a little more homework and don't just reject European players right away. Of course, the player still need to be in a system that fits them. What’s interesting about this is that we know from Wemby’s team of people around him that he doesn’t want to play center in the NBA. He wants to play the 4 position. It’s going to be interesting to see what the Spurs do at the 5 position. Also, I think everyone needs to watch out for this scenario, with a ton of picks and cap space and good young pieces. Watch out for that number 3 pick held by the Trail Blazers, the Trail Blazers are in a weird spot with trying to get a star to play with Dame. If the Spurs can get a 3rd team who wants to unload a star especially with what they have as collateral, watch out!

One player that's being overlooked in college that may help right away is Adem Bona out of UCLA. He plays both 4 and 5 is quick to the ball for rebounds and good shot blocker. I'm hoping he may be available at the Spurs 2nd round pick. If you haven't seen him check out his highlights. I think only one source has him going in late second, all others have him going undrafted.
