I’m a die hard Alabama fan. But this right here is why I love college football so much. Props to Michigan they balled out. Their defense was grossly underestimated and I’ll be straight up I underestimated them too but they shut up the critics. Congrats to them they earned it for sure.

If they don’t go down the field and score Washington would’ve had some momentum only down 7 with a lot of time left. That drive is what opened the flood gates.

Every. Single. Player. Every one of them had an impact. I don't think there was a single "star" player on this Michigan team during the whole game, but they ALL did their jobs extremely well. I know Blake and Will deservedly got their flowers, but if I had to give anybody the MVP award, it would have to be Mikey Sainristil. That man put in WORK! Easily saved two touchdowns and got an interception as well.

He’ll grind out 5 yards a carry all day. Edwards needs a hole or be able to bounce it outside. Then he has breakaway speed, as you saw today and osu last year. And he’s a great receiver out of the backfield. Also, don’t be so sure you’ll see Edwards at Michigan next year. He’s wants in the league asap.

Michigan style game. Imposed their will on Washington. 13 points. How it usually works is the offensive line tires out the opposing defense as the game goes on. Tonight it was the opposite. As the game went on, Michigan wasn’t even blitzing and still got pressure on penix constantly.

If you listen to the Minnesota head coach, P J Fleck’s post game from 〽️’s game earlier in the season he describes what the Michigan team is which is extremely “deep” especially on defense. So many interchangeable players that get rotated in and out almost every play, keeping them fresh and not tired. A well-oiled defensive machine that wears down the opponents. I can’t recall how many games it was before any team scored on us in any 3rd quarter and also no-score in red zone for a number of games either. Go Blue! ‘78 grad/alum.

Congrats to Michigan, the better team won tonight. UW just didn't have the horse on defense to stop the run. They gave up over 300 yards rushing and they didn't have the correct game plan on offense (they had the athletes, but not the game plan). From what I saw, if they had a rematch and the game was played on UW'S home field, they would still lose because the Huskies defense would be too big of a liability.

Correct, which tells you that the moment was too big for members of UW, namely Penix and Coach Deboer. Nothing wrong with that because they both have never been apart of the National Championship.
