Big respect to the Crimson Tide. Lifelong old man Michigan fan here who took his son to Florida 2 years ago to watch Georgia just play with us in the playoffs. Despite that drubbing, Georgia fans were gracious victors and earned my respect. Bama fans all class too. Ohio State fans could learn a thing or two from you guys. As a Michigan fan I respect Bama. I have been a fan of Michigan since the 70's. Been to the big house about 10ish times. Michigan needed this a lot of guys stayed to do it.. It was a very tough game Bama was the #2 team in the nation.

As a Bama fan I appreciate playing in the Rose Bowl as much as the Sugar and playing Mich made it a classic. This was the best Rose Bowl ever and all respect to Mich. Mich and Bama don't play much but look at the times they have played and what games those were. The 88 HOF bowl, the 97 Citrus, the 2000 Orange and this. This wasn't just the greatest Rose Bowl but maybe the best bowl game ever. Congrats to Mich.

The dumb asseyes fans had their chance and blew it against Georgia the year before. Only reason this game against Alabama was close was because of Michigans special teams. Without those mistakes it’s a win by 14. Alabama was weak this year especially at QB.

Meeting in the Rose Bowl for a spot in the National title game, and while we didn't know it at the time, the last game of the greatest college coach of all time, It doesn't get better than this. @@dustinschalk8825 yeah, that’s what I’m saying. When Donovan was at Syracuse he ran roughshod over Michigan when they played. It was hard to watch. Michigan had a top defense and they couldn’t lay a hand on him. But yeah, that’s been a theme for the last 30 years at least. The way they played Milton was beautiful. They gave him fits all day. And it was wonderful to see.

Crazy game. I forgot how many miscues *both* teams had. Meeeechigan had the most obvious ones, but Alabama may have had the most crucial ones. That being said, Meeeechigan just plain outplayed Alabama. There's a reason they won the natty: they had the best O and D lines in the nation. They built their team like the Alabama and Georgia teams of the recent past, except without the top end talent. They just had a lot of really, really good players that played as a team, were relentless, and refused to be out-physicaled. Very much an old skool Bo and Woody team...

Diehard Michigan fan here. And balled my eyes out in victory....and because I knew my favorite coach... the greatest football coach in college history would be done coaching. I could just tell by his demeanor. There will never be another Nick Saban. I will miss seeing him on the sidelines. I hope Alabama will stay on their winning tradition....but I'm just not sure it will be equal to what Nick was able to accomplish there. Go Michigan!!!

U also have to understand Michigan was going around the country teaching teams how to play football, schools like osu and Notre dame. In fact it took osu 20 years to actually get a td and beat Michigan once. So yes Michigan has played more games than most schools but their considered one of the founding fathers of football.

Hopefully Chase McClellan learned to be a little more humble after that "suck it" gesture got him knocked on his behind. That O line, swingin balls around the sidelines before the game, got theirs busted all the way back into their QB's lap. Bama fans and players, most of you are cool, but some of you needed to get shut up by a team that just wanted it that much more... 82 was our only trash talker and I'm sure he's learned his lesson for next season.. lot's of great Bama fans at that game, but a certain percentage of ya'll needed to get humbled and man was it wonderful to witness it.

32# on defense for bama had a rough game, lawson. He passed off blake instead of taking blake in coverage for Michigan 1st td. He got beat on a crossing route by Morris for Michigan 2nd td, he went for an int, actually hit hand and the ball was still caught to step Michigans 3rd td.

Watching the video, I realized after about five minutes that the background music had become a distraction and was having an adverse effect on watching the game. I kept it on though, and continued to view arguably the greatest Wolverine win of all time! I also realized that the soundtrack that this dude had created was f@>king awesome! Instead of a distraction, it amplified all the moments of anguish, hope, emotions and eventually, victory, that this Rose Bowl had. Leonard Bernstein and John Williams could not have done better! I say that in (almost) all seriousness, great job on the video! GO BLUE!!

Georgia would’ve handled Michigan in 2022. Michigan’s run game would’ve been shutdown and then the receivers would’ve been locked. Georgia’s elite offense would’ve overwhelmed Michigan’s defense. Georgia was just better. Go look at the stats.

Myself, my father and his third wife, and my two sisters from his second marriage we’re gonna go to that game. DAD had a gallbladder attack, apparently was major, we didn’t make it to the game. I’m not complaining. I’m just glad he’s around. But, my sisters didn’t even tell me that when it happened, on New Year’s Eve, they didn’t tell me until the next day. And they said they were going to tell me. They just forgot. Had he died, that would’ve been it between them and me. We don’t talk a lot these days. My dad‘s first wife, my mother, DAD and her both went to Bama. Roll tide. I went to the same high school as Mr. Harbaugh. I heard he was a dick. And I got that on good authority. A good lady friend of mine, not that good used to go steady with him. He’s apparently about six years behind me. Screw him and Michigan.
