Couple of things here…first, Canelo isn’t a natural 168. He’s really a 160 fighter who himself is fighting above his size. Frankly, he could possibly even make 154 but he doesn’t like to drain his body like most fighters including Crawford. If this fight happens, who by the way Crawford has been calling for, if Canelo wins he needs to get full credit! Crawford took the fight, made the weight and therefore should have NO EXCUSES!!! Canelo has said he doesn’t want the fight because he won’t get credit, which is very likely, but he has also said money talks! Secondly, Stephen doesn’t want Crawford to fight Canelo because “Crawford is too small” yet he demands Canelo to fight Benavidez who is much bigger and has a significantly larger size difference than Crawford/Canelo! Third, why isn’t Benavidez on the P4P list if he’s such a monster? It’s such hypocrisy! I do believe Benavidez is all that and more but I don’t want people praising him without backing it up with a P4P ranking! I mean, Stephen would rather Canelo fight a non-P4P ranked fighter vs his #1 P4P fighter! I frankly don’t want a Crawford/Canelo fight because like Canelo has said, he won’t get credit…but, if the fight does happen, for sure I will watch and Canelo better get his flowers! And should be ranked #1 alongside with Inoue for P4P!!!

Bivol declined the rematch and Benavidez isn't a draw and won't even activate mandatory despite his talk, instead running to 175 to fight a guy coming out of retirement. Meanwhile if Canelo who's 5'7.5 and started at 140 was able to fight two 6'+ career light heavyweight champs at 175, there should be nothing to stop Bud from moving up to fight the smallest guy at 168.
