Not cause he didn’t wanna pay or because he couldn’t, because he felt untouchable. Him being caught and exposed on social media wouldn’t do much. Yeah maybe it would be a good punishment for a couple of months at most, but after that, he would probably feel untouchable again. What his dad did was harsh but it definitely worked.
