I find it strange how the Chiefs lost in Week 1 to the Lions largely through drops and the narrative was that Patrick Mahomes needs help, but the Ravens lost to the Steelers in Week 5 through drops as well and the narrative is that Lamar Jackson needs to live up to his contract. This was a much more defensive game than that one, if one of those passes was caught for a TD the game would've been blown wide open. The answer is yes. Rex is right 8 drops by his receivers yesterday and all 8 were wide open. 3 were for touchdowns. Completing over 70% percent of his passes going into yesterday’s game. Which was the highest in the league. 7 fumbles this season but if you actually watch the tape and 2 is on his own doing. 1 low snap by the center and the others are exchanges between him and millions of running backs they have that have touched the field this season.(Edwards Hill Drake Dobbins and Gordon.) When running RPO’s and swapping RB’s as much as they do fumbles are going to happen. QB is trying to pull the ball and keep it RB is trying to take off with it. Especially when it’s a RB that wants their touches. Name another QB that has had this many RBs this season? They have the numbers but not all the facts. His receivers had 10 drops and 3 of them were easy touchdowns, ravens easily should’ve won this game 28-3 if the receivers knew how to catch. It got to the point that Andrews was dropping tds. Edit: on the fumble he was already in throwing motion and his blockers were non existent, every qb fumbles in that situation. The int was the only bad throw I’ve seen from him all game, every other throw was on the money or decent enough for the rest of the team to catch it. I agree 100% with the turnovers. It's inexcusable whatsoever BUT with that being said, I will take the turnovers with Lamar Jackson because he is such a dynamic athlete! He is going to make more plays and will your team in a position to win more than he turns the ball over! 🤷🏾♂️

They left at least 17 points on the field. And that blunder before halftime is even worse when you consider there was only about 20 seconds left and they had no timeouts left, so even if they did pick up the 4th, it's a strong possibility they wouldn't have had enough time to try getting it in the end zone anyways. @@robertschoelerman7496 as a Ravens fan/Marylander, Lamar still can not maintain his grip on the football when he's in between his running back and quarterback gears. That's always been his Achilles heel since he first started. (the game wasn't entirely on him, but that interception in the endzone was no excuse by him.) Also, Harbaugh & his coaching staff do the usual running game in the first 3 quarters (alongside the aggressive/miscues with the OL, etc). Then, by the 4th, they try to throw the ball more than run it, believing that Lamar has gotten comfortable switching between both. Still, instead, they reduce his ability to secure the ball when pressure begins to mount when the Ravens fail to exploit opportunities that would later be game changers to their eventual defeat. That interception throw was merely Lamar panicking, and we have seen many times he throws the ball the wrong way when he cannot get any receivers open when he has lost any lanes to run out of.

PFF had Lamar as the highest rated QB in the league in week 5. He was surgically dissecting the Steelers throughout that game. Even when things took a turn for the worst the throw to Zay right bwfore the strip sack (Stanley wiffed completely on Highsmith) over the defender in zone coverage was Brady like. If they catch any of the TDs its a 2 score game and the game is done. As always, Harbaugh got outcoached by Tomlin with the stupidest decision ever to not take the 3 points at the end of the half. My squad desereved to lose bc they kept a far inferior Steelers team in the game to let TJ Watt do what he always does....
