As a coach this is pretty much what you want in your players. Being a coach you teach the players during practice days and on game day you go out execute what you were taught simple.what Kerr has is confidence in the talent of the roster and this is a coaches dream it’s just u know every team doesn’t have this much IQ on one team like them.#YouTeachTheyExecute

What Kerr did is the definition of coaching. When you teach something back, you understand it far more than listening. Dude comes across as the most progressive (I’m not talking politics) guys ever to be in the nba. He definitely uses a ton of psychology in his methods and responses. Plus, I think he actually cares about his guys as humans more than anything, like a coach should. Humans respond better to that than old school styles or “it’s just a business” style of management.

Exactly, if I was a Suns player, I would be pissed if their coach didn’t do anything and we still lost by almost 50 points

Make sense, this could have been a game they don't even think about and create bad habbits (sloppy passing, slow back on d etc.) but instead he got them engaged. Good coaching!

The Phoenix Bums, i can actually say i agree with Stephen A. There were times coach let us figure out our own scheme during TO's and hell that was in college, builds leadership

do you think Phil Jackson was calling plays in final moments? MJ was not even paying attention to what Phil was saying he knew what he had to do when he threw Steve Kerr the ball after being doubled. Players should know how to call plays and Steve Kerr is a genius

If I was the owner everybody from a coach on up is getting fired this makes no sense to be this bad year-in and year-out you constantly get point guards and you have not yet to build a team that will compete.... God it's frustrating being a Phoenix Suns fan
