I mean aside for being the strongest guy in the league during his time by far he was also an amazing track and field athlete. Imagine someone that large also being able to high jump a 6’6 pole and also run 440 meter dash in 50 seconds he was a one of a kind athlete. He also had multiple teams trying to offer him contracts in the Late 80,s when he was in his 50’s so that should tell you the type of physical dominance he had in his prime to be still sought after by the very best at that advanced age. And you can easily look up the stuff I said it’s all true and that was only the first things that popped in my head. There’s a lot more he did.

Bo I was the closest fan to you when you ran into the tunnel that night.... I was in the chairs with the rest of the kids in football gear from playing during the halftime show... we were in that corner and I was at the end... I saw it like no one else did that night and thank you for entertaining us with your devotion to being the best player possible... peace

A guy my dad worked with told me a story about Bo. The guy used to run track in high school in Alabama. Either at the state championship or leading up to it he ran in a relay race against Bo. He told me he had a good lead on Bo as he got the baton way before. Then he heard rapid stomping and strong breathing from behind him. He tried to run faster but a blur of a man went by him feeling the wind off his limbs moving. It was Bo.

All jokes aside. I'm 55 years old and have been watching sports most of my life. Bo Jackson is by far the best athlete of my lifetime. He gets a lot of praise but the best play I ever saw him do was throw out Harold Reynolds at home from the outfield. Truly amazing.

He’s being ridiculously humble. His size, strength, power and speed would still hold up today. The guy looked like Adrian Peterson back in 1986 for chrissakes. Pro Bowler and All Star. Tape measure homers and 90 yard runs. Greatest athlete ever.

Because of a Physically Demanding position. A lot don't Consider this and feel Bo's not HOF material. I Strongly Disagree. That Stud Barkley for N.Y. Giants will be lucky if he plays 7-8 seasons. It's hard to do in today's world, Unlike the REAL MEN who played from the Inception of the NFL up until and Thru the 70's. There were more than one player who still suited up and started with Broken Bones. Not anymore, or very seldom. I'm talking major bones not a finger, or something superficial. Jack Youngblood played rest of game with a BROKEN FIBULA.
